That may be so but with a new trainer and the captain gone its a lot harder next season. I can still remember the last time we went to 2. Liga and then right back into the 3. Liga -.- With the current known coach it would be easier to stay in the 2. Liga in my eyes.

I dont think you really can apply something like professionalism onto soccer players. Only a few have then in my eyes if any. You can always see that when they dont get what they want (for example a new team, more money or whatever).

So who else here think that that was a pretty strange champions league final? I also really wodner if the cl final has any influence of the German National team now...I mean a lot of the key players are from Munich...and I don't really know in what mental condiition they are now after becoming second in the league, after losing 5:2 versus Dortmund in the dfb cup final and after this very unlucky defeat in the cl final. Furthermore Schweinsteiger, Kross, Müller, Boateng and Lahm haven't been in such a good condition lately to begin with.

Hmmm that could be a very intersting euopean championship for Germany now ( in a negative sense).

What do you mean with unlucky defeat? I havent seen the game (was working) but from what I heard, read and seen afterwards on the net they were just too stupid to win the game. Letting Robben shoot a penalty again already shows that. And Olics and Schweinsteigers penaltys were really weak too.

Yes its looking worse and worse for us. But for Spain too, first loosing Puyol and now Villa too who still hada little bit of chance to play.

What do the Dortmund supporters think of this development?

(I posted here because I knew a couple of you guys are Dortmund fans.)

So the first games of each round are over and there are already some surprises, like Russia owning Czech Republic 4:1, Germany only winning 1:0 against Portugal, Ukraine beating Sweden, Denmark beating Netherland and the biggest of all Italy beeing able to stand its own against Spain in the for now best game of this Euro. After all the trouble Italy had the last couple months and them not beeing good for years I thought they would get annihilated in this tournament.
Overall almost all games were a surprise, at least for me.
Too bad that except for the Italy-Spain game most games were bad, so maybe its not that bad that I cant watch a lot of games because of work ^^
