couldnt play mpg4 does anyone know wot codec i woud need and also how to put subs in a avi file with virtualdub 1.8.8 help please

Uninstall any other codec pack you have installed and then install CCCP this should sort out your MPG4 problem since it has the best free codecs that are on the market.

As for your other problem i have no idea.
