While I'm no expert regarding Mah-Jong, but I do know the general rules and approach. The are many many many different combination to win in playing Mah-Jong, and each combination worth different amount of points. Her approach is abandoning the higher possibility multiple ways to win, bit only winning using one specific approach...so it very down to luck. With the opponents knowing her approach beforehand, it is possible for them to guess what's she is looking for, or even taken advantage of the ones that's she letting go and win ahead of her. Thanks for the information ! I didn't know that ! I have no clue on what Majh-Jong rules are so I can only follow the flow of the episode and guess why the other are astonished or whatever ^^' So for the matches when 4 schools have to play with each other, each member of the team has to play a few times and the team with the most point wins the match right ? Maybe I should read a tutorial or whatever to know the basics rules of Mah-Jong... |

Finally an epsiode that actually has a mahjong game in it for once.
Now it's starting to feel like the yuri mahjong series that this spun off from now. To think that the sisters have a disadvantage on only going for certain tiles. I mean the Dora Run is pretty much the most highly dangerous way to play, especially when you pick out a tile that could get you into big troubble. As for her sister it seems that she has an odd play-style as well but I wonder what it is though. ![]() - Miko Miko Mode Oni Version - Yes, I do have a red riding hood complex... So not only did the last two episodes pull off the close shave victory for the girls but in the recient episode it seems the heavy hitters from the main series have now made somewhat of an appearance.
In any case it looks like things are going to be rather interesting if they manage to face-off against that school in the next match-up though. So now we slightly went into the Super-Powered Mahjong this series is also known for along with it's massive ammounts of yuri as well. ![]() - Miko Miko Mode Oni Version - Yes, I do have a red riding hood complex... So with the latest episode it seems that they are bringing back some of the schools that Saki and her freinds have taken out. Not only that but those that happen to be in the singles torunament as well. So if they do the second season for Saki we might get to see these girls once more along with some more antics as well.

Even while the tournament is going on we still get to see the yuri backstory for most of the characters here, and not only that but for some reason with Nodaka showing up more an dmore makes me wonde rif someone is planning to grope her when they meet her still.
I mean sometimes it feel like that the main series was all about how she was going to be groped by Saki herself but then there are time you'd think she'd be groped by any of the other girls in the series just for hte heck of it. ![]() - Miko Miko Mode Oni Version - Yes, I do have a red riding hood complex... That's too bad that some of those characters won't be in the main serie ! Only two teams will be qualified for the finale, and obviously Shiraitodai will be one of them (being the school of Saki's sister).
However, I really like Senriyama, and it feels bad to see them gone... It's kinda bad, I'm rooting for the main characters to lose their match, so that we can continue to see Shiraitodai and Senriyama in the main Saki serie This post has been edited by daedalron on Jun 20 2012, 09:35 AM |

Tell me if I'm wrong (I would expect no less here), but isn't Episode 12 the end of this series? I won't spoil for those who haven't seen it yet, just wondering... (seems like there should be more).
