Ahhhh~ just had a nice jogging for 1 hour and 30 minutes hope to get back in shape after this last stressful term, No thanks to my messed up internal clock and eating habits.

Gonna download the anime I missed last season gonna catch up to all of them hopefully

And gonna catch up on some drama's that I've been itching to watch like Game of Throne

Don't you just HATE it when you're away for a week and a half and then return to a backlog of over 24 hours of anime to watch? Damn, I might have to postpone some shows or something.

Sounds like were in the same boat. I just got back from a wonderful vacation and am in the midst of getting caught up with my work backlog, only to know i need to go home and get caught up with my watch backlog as well. Its always hard to get back into your rhythm, but its even worse to never take a vacation away and be able to break up the monotony of everyday life and enjoy yourself. The grass is always greener on the other side.

As you can see, im currently procrastinating my workload and playing with my phone. Oh sweet caffeine, carry me for two more hours. Maybe i should finish this last bit so i can twiddle my thumbs without guilt or paranoia

Is it really... truly impossible... or absolutely unreasonable... to expect someone to not lose your car key if it isn't attached to a key-chain??? So oh yeah what am I doing... venting my personal frustrations on a message board.

KILL! Damn, I feel ya. Something happened similar to me and it was my Mother's fault and I ended up screaming through the phone at her and then she just cut the phone on me and I went crazy for a minute, which lead to me breaking an instrument (the instrument in question was expensive).....I knew it wasn't deliberate but it ENRAGED me. This happened like 7 or 8 years ago.

Yikes Captain sounds like you had a why so serious moment luckily for me nothing expensive ended up getting broken and the key was successfully found. I just learned my lesson to make sure when I lend out my keys to make sure there is a chain, preferably one that rattles, and makes a significant amount of noise attached to it. The pizza wasn't as hot and fresh but the rest of the day's activities were salvaged w/out any real inconveniences. Good luck with your studies; I hope you ace those exams buddy

Thanks mate. That was one moment in my life, I truly wish didn't happen. Little things like that don't bother me anymore, but if it's deliberate, I will point it out but generally I'm a calm and collected individual since then because I deeply regret my actions back then.

Ah exams.....exams......I studied during the Easter break and then I came back to University, it's been almost 2 weeks and I've barely done any work....slightly peeved with myself, time seems to fly too readily these days. However, I shall put forth a lot more effort, since the first set of exams are in 2 weeks.

Well I had a conversation earlier that went in an odd direction. Since I'm starting to get burnout on anime posting at the moment I suppose it can't hurt to share right here. For some reason the topic seems errr a bit weird... is that the word I'm looking for... eh yeah just going with that... so I'm going to put it in spoilers so nobody that visits here reads this and is like wut-really... with serious topics like world hunger, poverty, (fill-in the blank serious topic), he is discussing this? Well you've been warned; if you completely waste your time reading until the end then it's nobody's fault but your own

Now to the point of the post. I had a conversation earlier with someone who's not an anime fan but was interested because they've seen me use it as a display pic or something in the past -- thought I've stopped doing that now. Somehow the conversation turned into... Am I one of those guys who's attracted to female anime characters? Immediately as a self-defense mechanism I wanted to say no way not me. It's not something that comes up often where I have a ready made answer for it off the top of my head. Like when somebody asks what do you like on your toast and you without thinking say jam. Although I would suppose "the positive response" is that one shouldn't be overly concerned what another might think in that regard -- but positive doesn't always equal smart response. The question was just asked so suddenly and caught me off guard. At first I just dismissed and deflected the question with something along the lines of it's just fantasy and make believe so technically it doesn't really count... blah blah blah.

Then the conversation somehow went along the lines of show me a picture of your favorite female character because I want to get a feel for your preferences. I was like well okay I suppose but anime girl preferences are so varied and can't really be equated to let's say real life human preferences.

In all honesty I don't really keep a lot of anime girl's pics on my computer to begin with but the I made sure not to showcase the ones with pretty extreme lingerie shots w/boobies spilling out all over the place. I showed her some pics of Lucy Heartfilia (Fairy Tail) in some cosplay with cat ears (for some odd reason) and she was like so you have this kind of fetish? I was like not really it's just that a guy's taste in anime girls can go beyond just casual clothing. Things started to get difficult to explain at this point.

Then she was like the rest of these pics seem to be all of different girls (showed her 10 pics then stopped... probably five picks too many). I explained that I'm not the type of anime guy fan who really has a set favorite. Sure I've been into Lucy for a while now and you can almost call her my steady (go to girl... wait, I don't mean fapping or anything like that) but I'm not a faithful guy. Because right when you might think Lucy is my favorite later that night I'm screen-grabbing a Wanko panty-shot from Sankarea (God only knows why) and even later I'm doing a quickie late night ecchi-pic search of Yukinori on Gelbooru from Kore wa Zombie. I'm very random like that and am too unfaithful to have an anime waifu. When I see the new flavor of the month like Rias Gremory (red-hot pic) from High school DXD... I've got to get it.

I realized about 15 minutes into this conversation that I was saying all these things above because I just have a habit of speaking my mind w/out restraint sometimes. It started to dawn on me that some of this might sound sort of weird to a person who's not an anime fan. After a break in the conversation with a little bit of awkward silence I had no choice but to play the haha I was just kidding card. I don't think that it was bought in the slightest.

In the future I think it's easier to just go ahead and lie about it or simply just avoid the conversation. If she's a girl you may want to spark up some level of friendship, setting the table for getting some, or your ambitions are a relationship at some point... then just deflect all anime related hobbies and in the worst case scenario just completely lie altogether. Besides what's the harm and letting that person get to know the essential stuff, (age, weight/height, sexual preference, 3-sizes, etc) and personality first and then you can fill in the minor details along the way. All I'm saying is don't over think the complete honesty thing. It sounds good and or righteous in theory but you could end up in awkward and unnecessary conversations.

Now I did warn you this was a post you could have lived without reading. Although there was a valuable lesson/payoff in the end. Whether you believe it to be true or not is up to you. Though don't say no one ever warned you if you find yourself in a similar situation. Hot chicks (I'll say typically to cover my bases... sure there are the enlightened few) you want to score with don't want to talk about anime. To cover my tracks I even started to talk about how I really like to get down with some whipped cream on my blueberry waffles. Even this random and mundane topic point had a stronger conversation carry-over impact. The conversation pace X flow rebounded decently enough and took a positive turn from there.

Senpai, I shall put my answer in spoilers too (tbh not sure why but I think it's the respectful way I guess. ). Mother's Day happened in March in the UK, it will be Father's Day next month.....oh Mother's Day in the USA is soon, actually I will give my mum a call next week and say it's Mother's Day in the USA.

That's an odd question for starters but there could be plausible reasons for why the person asked such a question, at first I thought she was hinting that she liked you but I don't know, the scene in my head is just way too anime-like, so I shall dismiss that route for now. Maybe this person's close friend/partner/family member is like really into "2D Anime girls" and just wants to understand a reason behind the attraction or idolisation of such characters. 

I've been asked odd questions in the past, most of the time I answer by just saying "cause I like it!" and leave it at that. However, a few months ago, a girl asked me "do you watch anime?" and I had to think a lot before I answered her question, I think I gave her a rhetorical question as an answer but I think I told her I watched anime albeit in a very weird way and then I quickly left the kitchen, this was happening at our 8-roomed flat, she's a girl from next door, I'm not interested in her....I constantly think she's a duck even though she has no physical resemblance to a duck....she's actually pretty and cute to others but I just keep thinking she's a relative of Donald Duck. A few days later, she's about to leave our kitchen and she says she's going to watch Death Note.....I think I dropped the bowl I was eating from at the point and I was like..."you watch anime?"...I was shocked and she was like yes and then left our kitchen.

Ahhh...not sure what the moral of my story is but I think sometimes its good to be more straightforward sometimes. However, with Senpai's question it's better to lie because those kind of questions lead to avenues of awkwardness. Hence, you feel insecure of what they think of you and who they might share their opinion of you with. It's just not a feeling you would want to have, so it's better to avoid situations like that with a pre-determined answer. Therefore, Senpai's words are good advice like a real sempais in the path of life. Wait...............WTF......why am I getting spiritual??? AH who cares!

It was more so trying to understand the idolization of anime characters. What's the real intrigue from a guy's perspective? That is at least what I took from the line of questioning. Though I see you also had to pause before you gave a definitive answer. It can become a self-conscious act before you even know it when talking to someone who you know isn't or don't think is an anime fan. Plus using a rhetorical question like you did is a classic self-defensive mechanism to deflect the conversation in a different direction. So you're already not being entirely straightforward. All in all I see it as harmless to keep those matters to yourself at first.

I was looking at the stats on myanimelist profile the other day and realized I had spent over 200 days of my life watching anime. Does she really need to know that little tidbit? I figure that she can find stuff like that out after things have progressed further and notices me watching around an hour of anime every night. There's no point in trying to keep it concealed at that point lol. Luckily you've more than likely already done some level of umm fun adult activities together (if it gets to the point where she can pick up on how much anime you watch daily) so she'll have reservations for frowning upon your hobby. Then feel free to leave all the ecchi girl anime pics folders, questionable doujin sites, and image galleries bookmarked in your favorites unhidden under fake names like fantasy football league.

I had my first exam earlier today, went well enough...got 7 more to do. I have one tomorrow, this is the one that I'm absolutely terrified for, it's not subjective...it's an Econ module but it's one of those modules, where it's hard to make notes for.........it's just too much work, you have to know about journals and be able to readily reference them in your exam. The exam is for ECON 226 - Applied Microeconomics, it's the hardest subject for me and the exam will be seriously TOUGH considering how difficult the past exams seem to be. I'm going to do the best I can for tomorrow, read and memorize some journals. The real problem, is that I don't really know what Topics we're meant to do for this exam.

This exam is a pain in the ass........I'm know I'm whining but I hope in doing this that I'm able to relax more and be able to get some real work done.

Wahaa~ why keep bookmarks on your pawrn? just remember the sites! unless you keep like twenty of them o.O Also, there's plenty of easy ways to keep your folders completely invisble unless you know exactly where they are.

What I did today? I beat diablo 3 on normal then proceeded into Nightmare Difficulty, getting my face kicked in by the very first elite >:

I'm still in act 2 Tried to play it Wednesday and the login servers were down I can't believe I caved and bought it after they really made me mad with their design choices, like persistent online single player. Still, it was nice to have some nostalgia with the old D1 bosses I encountered in my early teens.

As for today, Diablo as stated above, and I actually hung up some artwork. I've had it sitting around for weeks trying to decide how to set it up in my living room and dining room. Only about halfway done, but it looks good so far. Also watched a few anime eps and am slowly but surely getting caught up.

The 2nd exam (Econ 226 - Applied Micro) went well, I'm impressed with myself, I got some really good revision before going into the exam, revised pretty much all the topics. Now, I've got an exam on Monday and Tuesday, gotta start revising soon.

Yesterday....I didn't get much done since I was running for elections (AGM) for the Gaming Society, I applied for 2 positions. I wanted to get the Treasurer position which I had planned to get and had told everyone at the society that I was running for the position last week. The guy who's suppose to be friend, decided to go on a f**king whim and run against me for that position. He lives with 3 of my other friends and does the same course as them and is a 1st year, I joined the society in my 2nd year since I was bored with my new flatmates.

So, when we were called up to talk about what we are going to do for LUGS (aka Lancaster University Gaming Society) as potential Treasurer. All he said was that he's going to live in town with 3 of our mates, 2 of them were running for the other positions and said that they will be a good team together. I'm gonna be living in campus dorms again for my 3rd year, I personally prefer it, since I won't have to take the bus to go to and from campus. I'm friends with them too and I talked about my plans of bringing my games too LUGS and be able to finance in getting better equipment for the society. I talked and answered ppl's question whilst my "opponent" didn't say a thing. We were then told to leave the room, whilst they voted, there were about 14 ppl there, my friend got 5 votes from 2 of his future flatmates and by 3 other ppl. I got 4 votes from 4 people I don't know and who liked my idea of what I will bring to LUGS. The current LUGS president didn't vote and 3 voted for re-opening votes. Whilst they were voting, he told me outside that he will be shocked if he gets in because he doesn't really come to LUGS, whereas, I go every week. I knew my friends were going to vote for him because their his current flatmates but everyone knows he's a dick and we openly tell him his an egotistical sack of shit, lately he's been asking us why we call him a dick. He's gonna be an awful treasurer, I can see him spending our society funding on like booze for himself, since he will be taking care of the money in his bank account. He's irresponsible with his money, he's already spent £4000 in 1 month, he's actually shocked himself about how much he's spent but it's no surprise as buys random shit.....mainly lots of food and booze despite being an incredible lightweight with alcohol.

I'm just f**king pissed that he did this to me, I know he's done it for a joke but it's not funny in my end. I was furious and I made it known to other members, I'm going into my final year, I'm the eldest of the group.

Luckily for the AGM, you can run for a maximum of 2 different positions, my preference was to be Treasurer, I'm a freaking Economics student. The other position was for "Health/Safety/Equipment", which I won but I'm gutted and incredibly annoyed.

I mean this might seem trivial but it's a big blow to me personally and I want revenge. I mean my LUGS Exec position sounds so shit, however, I have to take care of the ethernet cables, the switch, the Wii and the games library. The games library sounds good.....but back to the point, I'm annoyed and I can hide my anger decently in front of others.

I have 2 exams on Monday and Tuesday and I'm thinking about this crap. To be honest, I want to just vacate the position and leave the society because everyone tried to "console" me saying my position is more meaningful than Treasurer and that all the Treasurer really does is just keep the funding in check and make sure the members have paid for their membership for the year, which is £3 for the year.

Wow before I knew it, I had written quite a bit........I loved the fact that Chelsea beat Bayern Munich.

I guess the reason why I'm absolutely annoyed by this stupidity is because I feel somewhat betrayed but it's more on the lines of my ego and pride being hurt.

I've decided to take my revenge by helping another of our friends to beat the ones that voted against me and the one who actually went against me in Supremacy 1914, currently the ones that went against me are winning a lot with their alliance but if they lose this, it would be embarrassing.

Man, that's a major dick move :s it's always a shame when some whimsical dickhead takes something someone REALLY wants to do. but look at it this way, just take the position you have, make it work. when he goes around screwing everything up, step in. take over. have the rest of the board evict him due to incompetence and you could probably do bear both positions. ( If treasurer really is that easy for you). And right now, screw a gamer club, you got exams to ace, man

True, I just had to do the AGM thing so that having an Exec position, can help pad up my CV in the future. Anyways, revising..........a lot NOW.
