Not that Intense! I mean the real lovey-dovey feeling, as crush is only puppy love though its obvious that she will really fall deeply in love w/ tomoya as she is one of the main heroines. Well clannad isn't actually going to fall exactly on dec 25 or any holidays japanese does have this time of year, plus Kanon 06 last year aired at this similar time but still I'd be best to get confirmation. Probably Kotomi's arc all in all would take only 5-4 eps (meaning 1-2 ep remaining) since they have to allot more time for Kyou's, Tomoyo's, Nagisa arcs since so far 24 eps is said to be the total count of the all in all eps unless they extend of course. http://rokkenjima.tumblr.com/ <= Umineko doujin albums for your needs :3 Credits go to Joesca the original Uploader not me. -Sig is Under Renovation Until Further Notice :(- (too Lazy), ![]() ~KeyOtak-Auuu~ ~Tennis Otaku~ ~VNL~ (Visual Novel Lover) ![]() ![]() Everytime you rant needless morality against lolicons, God kills 5 loli per sentence. from point of the game version playing out like anime version i hoping that the be another season appearing soon with the decended of clannad character

I very much doubt that we will see a second season involving their descendants since the game(s) had no such story in them. You may be confusing this with Da Capo or some other work. Also I would like to add that I absolutely agree with AnimeWiz07: almost every post you have made to this forum has been under two lines. This not only goes against forum policy (we consider such posts spam) but goes against common sense as well. If you have nothing to say then there is no point in posting. If you do so just to increase your number of posts (and I can see no reason why you would) then you are doing it in the wrong manner. If you type longer posts which actually do something to further the topic then people will respect you more and actually listen to you. When you post something like:
(especially in the middle of the season) people will assume that you do not know what you are saying or that you posted in the wrong section.
I am not trying to reprimand you but rather to help you so that you can have a more intelligent conversation and get more out of this forum. |

Finished episode 12. It was really amusing to see Fuko appear. I mean the way she magicked out of thin air, take the last coin from Tomoya, grab a starfish (instead of getting the anteater doll), and ran away. Lol. I wonder how that old man was related to Kotomi's parents' death though.
lol that guy in overcoat was kotomi's parent assistence |
Actually he was wondering if the guy had something to do with Kotomi's parents' death and for that answer we really have no idea unless someone played the game (which is as of yet untranslated). That Fuuko part was pretty funny especially how she attributed it to 'reflex'. It is good to see that she is still around and as addicted to star shaped objects as ever. |
all you see kotomi in libary with Tomoya where kids trying to put out the flames while she crying and that guy was helping to put out the flame which i think kotomi started by accident
Oh wow, I was completely shocked to see Fuko appear out of no where. I knew that she was still around, but to think she'd appear outside of school seemed really odd, though it was great to see her again.
As for Kotomi's arc, it seems like we're getting into some pretty heavy stuff. This "hidden world" for instance, may in fact be tied to the illusionary world that they've been showing us with the girl and the robot; I don't know for sure, but the two are probably connected. I know nothing about Kotomi's story, so I believe her story will be much more fulfilling to me, as I knew some of Fuko's story even before I watched the anime, and I know Nagisa's story the best sadly (not really my choice, it just sort of happened). I also know very little about Tomoyo and Kyou, so Clannad will still be exciting to me too. But back to Kotomi. At the end of episode 12, when they're showing the newspaper clippings, there's one that says Calabi–Yau manifold so I looked it up on Wiki and found some pretty strange stuff related to theoretical physics and mathematics; definitely worth a look. Also, if anyone's wondering about the whole "Day before yesterday, I saw a rabbit, yesterday I saw a deer, and now today you", it's a line taken from Robert F. Young's short story The Dandelion Girl (I was told this myself not too long ago; I had no idea before). A full transcript of the story can be found here for anyone that wants to read it; I haven't read it yet though. Key's newest game is called Rewrite. Man halfway done and what an episode! When Kotomi just breaks down crying that really just tugged at my emotions. I mean Kyoani made Air really really sad, Kanon really funny and I think that Clannad may be the ultimate balance of emotion and school life good times.

but you know the game coming out for clannad on 360
Clannad (クラナド, Kuranado?) is a Japanese visual novel created by the software company Key, who also produced the successful titles Kanon and Air. Key announced in 2001 a release date of 2002 for Clannad and, after several postponements, finally released a limited version for the PC on April 28, 2004, and the regular version less than four months later on August 8, 2004. The visual novel was later ported to the PlayStation 2 on February 23, 2006, and will be ported again to the Xbox 360 in spring 2008. The gameplay in Clannad follows a linear plot line, which offers pre-determined scenarios and courses of interaction, and focuses on the appeal of the five female main characters. According to Jun Maeda, the main scenario writer of Clannad, the title means "family" or "clan" in Irish.[1] Those who can't see the mirror of the own reflection cannot Reflect the one true self |

hmmm, not sure your posting that in the right place since this thread is for the anime not games anyways it seems that this arc is going to be finished soon enough, sadly though the anime will most likely go with the nagisa ending (im not too fond of it because shes too plain IMO) and dont misunderstand, i dont hate nagisa but i like tomoyo and kyou more |
Well Nagisa is set up in a similar way that Ayu was in Kanon. Both were introduced in the beginning and you see them all throughout the series, but there were still quite a few episodes based solely on Ayu in Kanon so I wouldn't be surprised if the last 3 episodes or so are based on Nagisa.

I can't agree with that. They're either going to have to throw Tomoyo's and Kyou's arcs out the window, or rush through them like there's no tomorrow based on the much later story which encompasses most of Nagisa's story. I think Nagisa deserves a lot more than Ayu in that Nagisa's story is more than twice as long. What I'm hoping for right now is that they'll get through Tomoyo's and Kyou's arcs just fine (with some tweaking here and there, and some things dropped, but that can't be helped), and then after the series ends they produce a set of OVAs for Nagisa's later story. Either that or a second season; as long as they get through the stories well enough. Key's newest game is called Rewrite. Click image to go to the Key thread. - Kanon, Air, Clannad, Little Busters! |
ah, I didn't realize how long Nagisa's story really was. In that case it's hard to see how they will fit everything into 24 episodes without rushing things. There just doesn't seem to be enough time considering we aren't finished with the 2nd girl yet and are half-way through the series. ![]() ![]() ![]() Oblivious to the World - My Blog Barbobot's Anime List Current Top 5 Ongoing (Updated for Winter '10 01/10) |
