I'm enjoying this series, with the exception of the recycled dragon mount-up sequences causing Voltron flashbacks. The instant relationship between Jin and Toa is compelling, and there is a good slate of other characters and developing conflicts. But I really wish they wouldn't take their time telling Jin (and through him, us) what the heck is going on. It just doesn't make any sense for any of them to keep him in the dark like that.

And BTW, this latest ep was just gasoline on the fire for the boob thing:

I finally got down to watch episode 07 by Infinite-Zero Fansubs.....wow they're quality in subbing and the speed of the releasing of the episode was excellent. This episode....especially this episode has made me like Dragonaut even more.....it was extremely interesting and damn Widow is super HAWT......I wonder if Kazuki will fall in love with her (Widow) which I think would be cool.

This anime is set to be 25 episodes...I wonder whats going to happen in that time ??

Ah can't wait for the next episode.

Haven't seen you post in a while, JCD. Have you gone missing or was it just me?

Ep. 7 feels like a Jaquelinde episode. Jin already has Akira in his pocket, and it looks like he earned Jaquelinde's approval with that little stunt. So the two is going to act as Jin's pocket protector next week when Kazuki attacks?

The plot's direction somehow reminds me of Naruto... Jin -> Naruto, Kazuki -> Sasuke. At the moment, Kazuki is setting himself up as the perfect candidate to join the Gillard Army, so they can acquire the power of resonance.

Well just saw episode 7. It was a good episode for me. And just as i thought, Gio has feelings towards Toa, and this will be a Love Triangle for sure. Now for the swim suit, Machina's swim suit is the best it really suites her, also she has a very nice body for a dragon and a nice face too. So all in all she's toatlly HOT. I was also thinking that the relationships here in this series is getting better and better. I wonder whos relationship will be shown next.^^

Just when I thought this anime couldn't get any worse......a spa episode!

Seriously is it just me or did they give the loli girl bigger boobs? Even the loli has a nice rack now. Ha!

Still when are Jin, Toa and Gio going to find time to talk and work out what their situation is? I mean are they going to get separated every episode?

No, it's not you, I noticed it too.

Although I agree with Smokie about them *cough* enhancing *cough* certain uh....assets of the loli girl; overall I think the episode was really good. They toned down the uber-sized stuff that was getting on my nerves - hopefully they keep it up.

And lol, again agreeing with Smokie - Jin, Toa and Gio need some alone time. Gio needs to voice his concerns and questions; Jin and Toa have to talk about their relationship, and Jin and Gio have to fight over Toa. Though, at this rate, it looks like Toa might end up with some competition over Jin (namely the loli-girl and possibly the no-breasts one)

Actually that swimsuit sieglinde was wearing was made to push up her boobs....then again i think one shld be geting used to this already...i mean its not just her...ALL the females in this animes got rediculously enlarged "assets" .... seems like even in an anime as serious as this, the creator still wanna try thier luck at making ppls nosebleed...for what reason the drew the females like this...guess we'll never know...still storylines cool...tho in the begining the main protagonist acted like some kinda cluessless defenseless idiot which pissed me off a little...(tho even now hes still kinda clueless...)..then theres the other clueless idiot who wondered why he dragon left him ...think most viewers shld be able to grasp the concept of the whole dragon,ressonance thingy...if not i can explain below under spoilers...

So concept-wise..a resonance is that procedure where u let the dragon suck ur blood so that it will obey u when its born...apparently that dosent work on Gio and the original 3 dragons...album/toa being one of em...reason probably being that Gio has this destiny to protect toa for an unknown reason...

As for dragons...they seem to be extra-teresstrial beings which came from tanathos(meteor tingy that destroyed pluto(o.O!?)..reason they were sent to earth was persumably to invade it...but i doubt thats the case judging from the way toa beheaves...able to take on human shape, and their dragon form which serves currently as a weapon for the earths use...only 3 dragons came from the meteor thingy,including toa/album...reason for being on earth:unknown...the rest of the dragons are earth made...based on what and how they are made:unknown/yet to be known

ks..that abt wraps it up...the storylines not as complicating as gundam but its as interesting...seems like things arnt so straight-forward(earth is being invaded by dragons so they retaliate using thier own dragons)....cant wait to see wads nxt...

I don't know. I see resonance more as a bond between human and dragons.

I don't think there were blood exchanged between "Toa" and Jin (at this point I am still assuming they had a natural resonance") because Toa was a dragon when she first met Jin (The end of episode 8 confirmed that Toa was the one that crashed into Jin's shuttle that killed his family) . For the other dragonaunts, however, it is an artificial resonance are therefore blood was given to the dragon egg to imprint the dragonauts as their master.

jeez who would have thought that Toa acually killed Jin's family . i kinda feel sorry for jin seeing his family died in a bad way. but what is with kazuki hes kinda going over the top going all the way to target jin and being all revenge like.
But no offence to anyone but this show is kinda confusing sooooo many random emo stuff that confuses me

all in all alright series though gundam 00 seems to better

episode 8 was ok, they made it seem like a was some huge revelation that we found out that toa crashed into the shuttle but who DIDN"T know that by now... im interested how Jin will react though

that kazuki fella needs to cool off as well, hes one of those guys whos nice all his life and snaps all of a sudden showing a polar opposite of himself

so it seems that Toa is still on Thanatos's side, if my guess is right that Thanatos was the "mother" .... but the whole mission for her seems to be that she is meant to bring everyone back, kinda boring... but what i want to know is, is Toa against humans destroying the comet or not?

Kazuki reminds me of Shinn from GSD... who is locked up in the depth of anime hell for brain-dead good-for-nothing hero-wannabes. If I didn't know better, I say the two are related, especially in how they try to give Athrun/Jin that stuck up look. Well, since we are still early in the series, we will wait and see if he gets to redeem himself, or if he would be joinning Shinn the brainless.

This series is really good.... definitely good. I love how the story is prgressing now. Jin was actually shocked to know that Toa is the one who killed her parents. I cant wait to see more of Jin's reactions, and i wonder how he will handle things now that he knows that Toa is responsible for his parents deaths.

You know what's even more surprising? ToA's name. Really, that was a mind boggler. This whole time I was thinking that she had the other part of Jin's gift when she saved him, but I never thought she had it when she crashed into the shuttle.

And thus far, Kazuki's a bad cheeseburger. For what reason did he change? seriously.... Jin's better off going emo because of the incident.

yhea, i have that habit but i am trying hard to not put up all my comments in capslock. i said that they both losta there parents. i know it has no gundmas, i said that. true the war hasn't started. can wait to see episode 8. sorry to anoy some of the senpais, gomenasai. so from now on i'll type with lower cases, latez...

Yeah, I do wonder what Jin's response to Toa being responsible for the accident will be... I mean, I'm fairly certain he is in love with Toa , but I wonder if this will make him push her away?

Yeah, he's been getting more selfish-like every episode, I wonder what Gio is gonna do now that Jin made that deal with Kazuki to trade Toa for Gio... If I were Gio, I'd just leave him again . I wish he would listen to what Gio said, "I'm not an object."

Well, I don't think Jin would hold a grudge against Toa, because he is still alive because she saved him, and he will just chalk it up as an "accident". Afterall, Toa is pretty hard on herself for it, and Jin is the kind of character that will have a soft spot for it

Anyway, I don't think this will matter much it the next episode... Little Kazuki just set himself up to be the scapegoats of all scapegoats. Here is my speculation:

1) Its highly likely that the listening device on his collar can also act as a homing device.
2) Its the perfect time for Garnet to capture 3 dragons, and turn Toa over to ISDN as signs of co-operation.
3) At the same time, Raina Cromwell will convinently pass on the resonance procedures to Garnet, and she will just claim she discover it thru Gio & Widow
4) And of course, Kazuki is going to get blame for everything, and Gillard Army getting resonance.


The revelation that Thanatos is "mother" to Toa, also speculate that the 3 dragons were sent to retrieve the eggs on Earth. In other words, they might not even be a threat to Earth at all. The real threat comes from Gillard army making their own dragons, as we've already seen, and using it to dominate the world... which leads to WW3

This also hint at all the Dragons leaving Earth and going back to Thanatos at the end of the series. The mention of the little mermaid's story in the last episode is also significant, because that just might happen to Toa.

just saw first episode and i actually liked this anime... hope its gets better and looking forward to this anime...

did i miss something in episode 8 or is episode 9 delayed?

If you recall an earlier post, it goes further than that. Either there was a special during the day it was supposed to air, or the fansub group's holding back a bit. Either way, It'll be out soon.
