You're making sound like sooner or later they;ll fine tune an episode where ecchi will = the plot. As long as it doesn't tip the scales where it's like plot > ecchi though. I'm sure as long as it ends up being around where the ecchi>/= plot. It's the hardest thing to do for an ecchi series to balnace the story and ecchi. Well anyways at least they did the short Lala cosplay show there, that made my day right there that they did something like that.

Well I was lazy and wanted to have it greater or equal to and I didn't feel like spelling it out at the time. that's why I used the "/" thing there since I'm what you would call lazy there, or I didn't think about it that way.

In any case as long as they keep the balance close to being equal, to a little bit on the ecchi side things will be fine for this series.

Gotcha. Well, so far the plot hasn't really been much. Just a misfired confession that leads to a shotgun engagement. It's Urusei Yatsura with not many differences, except the noticable absence of Lum =(

Ecchi levels have been surprisingly low compared to what the opening theme shows. Just random scenes where Lala decides to get naked.

Oh, and "greater than or equal to" can be expressed as "A >= B" fyi.

Ok I'll remeber that, but never the less since I haven't seen the Urusei Yatsura series, which could probably be the first ecchi ailen series, but have seen pics of Lum, I'd say Lala does make up for that. In a strange way I kind of see it in that light where she's almost on par with Lum though, but this is just my two cents in the matter.

Yeah, ToLOVERU definitely has elements of a loooot of other anime out there, including UY and Tattoon Master. Still pretty entertaining though... and as I had watched Kanokon before it and was badly wanting something not quite as ecchi, this was decent.

I just watched episode 04 and I'm loving this series even more. I honestly can't remember the manga equvialent to this episode and I'm thinking it might have been a filler or just that I can't remember.

Episode 05 is gonna air in Japan later today but I think the subbed releases might take a little while like last week.

Well I have to say this near the end of episode 4 I could have swarn I've seen this hentai from somewhere before. It seems that the pervy octpus still managed to find work after all.

In any case I'm positive that this is actually a filler episode since htis kind of didn't happen at all in the manga... yet.

well, i think it can fit, cause wasn't there a day where lala wasn't there, and then she got a cold because of her trip around to the different planets in the manga they never really explained how she got it.

so really this is a prefect setup for the next episode at least thats the way I am seeing it.

But why did they include (episode 4) Tentacle Rape... They just had to put that in there...

They are changing a lot of it from the manga. A lot of people might think that is a bad thing, but I am actually pretty happy about it. Watching a scene in the anime you have already read, exactly the same in the manga, is not all that entertaining. I think it is a great adaption of a great manga.

It will be interesting to see how they introduce the new character. I'm hoping they don't go with the romance/comedy style character introductions, meaning each possible new love interest gets her own episode, but fades away into nonexistence afterwards. I really hope that does not happen. Part of the reason I enjoy the manga is how they develop the side characters, and keep them in the story, instead of just giving them each their own section and moving on. I'll just have to wait and see.

I like how it is "ecchi" more in fanservice, than in actual sexual situations. For some reason I didn't enjoy Kanokon very much, but would have liked it more if they toned down the almost-sex scenes. If I want to see that, I'll watch hentai.

I watched episode 4 a couple days ago and I liked it. It was good especially the scene with Zastin and Rito..."your majesty!" lol I enjoyed it, I can't wait for ep 5! Makes me think if I should read the manga since they are changing it from the manga.

episode 4 was pretty good. the part where zastin suddenly popped out of nowhere was pretty funny and the aliens coming out of the container made it looked as if i was watching some ultraman series . i do not really like filler episodes, but since i am not following the manga, i do not know which one is and isn't. probably ignorance is bliss for some series.

Episode 4 was pretty good but I wish it got subbed quicker. We can't always get what we want though so whatever. Anyways, those crazy alien ingredients were hilarious. Next episode should be pretty good.

The squids were awesome although obviously 3dish but who gives a damn. After that episode, I am awaiting hentai doujins with tentacle sex ^____^

Actually in the manga it was more along the line of one of her suitors that had a tenacle scene for course. Although it only involved the girl Rito likes.

Next episode it's introducing the "Sempai Princess" and her two servants. Well in any case, I can't wait for Ren/Run who is the reversalbe trap, and teh loli of course.

Either way you can say it spices two chapters and kind of combined them and excluded the suitor that was involved only in the manga. Also, I kind of wonder if that Magicl Girl show Lala watches in the manga will be involved in the anime now. Since it has a story right there as well.

who was disturbed by that girls laughter?

I just watched episode 05 which was hilarious....about Saki's laughter...its creepy but it suits her....I've seen many of her types having that identical laughing mannerism in anime.

Episode 06 is going to be another good one...if I remember correctly one of Lala's many candidates for marriage comes down to Earth or something along the lines of that. I think that big dude was actually a small alien in disguise and was afraid of Rito hitting him or something.......loved it when Haruna was "kidnapped" and subjected to "tentacle wrappings", anyways, I can't remember what happened clearly because its been about a year since reading that chapter.....which I'm pretty sure was in the first volume.

Anyways can't wait for episode 06.

Saki's laughter, reminds me of Naga's laughter from Slayers, she's even dressed like Naga in the contest part

about Episode 6, after reading the name of the episode, the Alien Assassin, I though it might have been Golden Darkness, but after watching the preview, it's her first suitor to come after her, it's not the fly one, he takes the form of the tennis teacher and kidnaps Sairenji. (I know cause I read the manga chapters 1 through 98 this week) XD
from what I can tell, in the anime, they are nor suitors but are there to assassinate her

ShadowPony ---> If they were to assinate Lala as you suggested then why kidnap Haruna......they probably came to assinate Rito and used Haruna as a means of luring him.
