It is nice to see the plot taking a bit of a front seat to everything else now, even if they waited until the very last episodes to do it. And the ecchi's still there anyway, of course.

Hmm, but on the subject of the episode files themselves... I got fed up of waiting for the .avi file to be released, so I just downloaded the .mkv file instead. When I saved it though, I accidentally saved it with a .avi file extension... and I'm a little shocked to learn that it works anyway. Seems I never really needed to download that video player just for the .mkv files, since I could have simply changed the file extensions all along...

Why don't you just download a free CCCP codec pack or K-Lite codec pack and install it, so that your media player can play any kind of media file, be it ogm, avi or mkv.

I have the CCCP, but it still only lets certain players use .mkv files (I use PowerDVD generally, but I needed to use Zoom Player for .mkv files). Perhaps the CCCP is what lets me simply change the extension... I find it hard to believe that simply changing the extension would make it work otherwise.

You should try out VLC player or Media Player Classic (which is what I use and its NOT Windows Media Player) these media players will certainly play mkv files.

To clarify the CCCP codec back is supported by media player classic and zoom player (that's why you could only play the mkv files on zoom player). I don't know if PowerDVD works with CCCP (from the sound of things it doesn't). As you have installed CCCP I advice you use media player classic.

VLC player has its own set of codecs so installing CCCP will make no difference. Stick with media player classic or zoom player!

well it has been a fun ride and i want to go on again i hope we get tot have a second season but hopes are dwindling. really cant wait for next epp. this has been 1 of my favs...

Like I've been saying if this episode ends the season on a good note, there is a good chance that a second season will happen. It's rare for a 24 -26 episode series to get a second season, but it's highly possilbe.

Besides they do have more ideas for this series from the manga if they wanted to keep this series going on the anime side of things.

Its not that rare (LOL ), look at the Slayers or Initial D slayers, there's a few more out there as well.

Well I thought Slayers had the it works even without seeing the previous season, but it helps feel towards it. As for Initial D, I can't say anything about it sinc eI never saw an episode or anything from the series. So I can argue against that one.

Although it would be nice to see this series going into a second season still. Although, this may be a hunch, but it could have a few OVAs just for the heck of it if they wnated to do something like that though.

Just finished it. Kind of predictable ending, but it still closed on a good note. Sadly, Rito never really chose between haruna or lala, and it was left open. But at least this means there is a possibility for a few ovas, or maybe even a second season.

i only watched 3 episodes and im glad i didn't watch the whole series. i really hate it when anime end like that. i highly doubt theres going to be a second season, maybe a a few ova next year. in most cases, you normally have to read the manga to know whats going to happen next.

i think there is gonna be a sec season cause it ended with the manga like this to lala failed to erase the memory's of them

Urgh, that's all I have to say about the last episode. If the entire series was at least okay if nothing else, the last episode was incredibly bad and overdone with all the girls screaming Rito's name over and over again. Not to mention that he didn't pick one of the girls, so it was all worthless. The only redeeming value is that the OP is done by Thyme. I'm not looking forward to any more of this anime; if I want to find out more, I'll read the manga.

Well yeah, I watched episode 26 and did enjoy this series because of its sheer stupidity....giving it a 8/10. Damn the manga though....why cancel Double Arts and Mx0 and not this ?? I guess the reason was because at the time of cancellation, the To-LOVE-Ru was being animated. So, I've got a question do you think those 2 great mangas will ever get ressurrected ?

Anyway, I have a feeling that this series might get a 2nd season soon.

It had it's good points, especially character design (mmm Haruna-chan), but the quality of the episodes was very uneven and they didn't advance or, in the end resolve, the main storyline, so I have to say it was a pretty mediocre series overall. It's a shame, it could have been really good.
