Actually I think that happens more after Nana and Momo show up though.

Although it could happen since those two tend to show a fairly nice relationship. In any case it also helps Rito in the long run since Yami-chan understand why Mikan likes him, and also for the implied yuriness between those two.

Given that Lala mentioned Nana and Momo at the end of the second OVA, I assume we're going to get that part in the 3rd OVA.  Then again, given that they didn't explain how Oshizu "became human" either, they may also very well not do the Nana and Momo arc.

Also, I haven't read the manga for a while now (and by a while I mean over a year or two) so I was wondering.... did they explicitly explain whether or not Mikan and Rito are/aren't blood related? Because I was getting the impression that they really weren't since the first time I started the manga/anime and the second OVA only seemed to reinforce that theory

Well she did say she was kiding Rito about that just to get back at him causing her porblems for the day. Although she did mention in the OVA that she wonders what it would of been like if they weren't blood related.

I'm just supprised that Lala didn't give Rito the plant monster at all throughout the series. Although she was a background character, but she kind came up into the foreground later on in the manga.

Also, they did explain Oshizu in the series, but it was more along the line of a short explaination of she was given a doll-like body because she was helpful with the Alien doctor at Rito's school.

In any case I hope they introduce Nana and Momo like they did in the manga since that was a lot of fun to read. Not only that, but it looks fairly promising to see animated never the less.

Wow. So episode 3 of the OAV came out?

I loved the TV series all around, but this felt like a throw-away episode completely. I suppose if you like lots of fanservice and not a whole lot else you can't walk away disappointed, but man, at least they -tried- to temper it with plot before.

Now... not so much.

Ah this was basicly the infamous beach episode that they probably wanted to do after all this time. The up side was they pulled it off to where the girls looked like tey were just posing for a photoshoot for most of this episode. On the down side it wasn't the episode I was hoping for because I was hoping to see Nana and Momo finally introduced into the cast.

I was hoping for a little more of history because when Rito becomes Maron in the manga he learns one or two things about Haruna but in this OVA nothing happens only he lost conciusness and becames berserk... and thats all.

And yes, the girls look like they were doing the photoshoot and not Run

Is a shame there wasn't much of a plot to this one at all and there didn't really seem to be an ending to the episode which was disappointing though.
I would still have to choose Lala as my fave cast member but I am so so so jealous of Ritos position in the episode even though he was turned into a dog. HAD to both love and laugh at the scene where he goes on a rampage with the panties

Ok... I'll be dead... dead honest...

This is the first time in my entire life... MY ENTIRE ANIME WATCHING LIFE... that I've ever had to take the time... to fast forward through scenes of mindless ecchi. o_o; ... I felt like I was really... really stuck inbetween segway to segway... and at one point, Actually called that something was going to happen. If a fan of the series as ever wondered just what someone's sizes were... they have no questions after this. >_<; ... I digress...

There wasn't much to this ep, eh? I guess not. It was a blatant attempt to totally exploit the rather intriguing designs of the female characters that were developed in this series. I think that I actually held back a nosebleed. No... wait... I did a little, I see it on my finger. xD! ...

Back on topic... I don't think this can get any closer to "Fanservice". We've seen and they've went there... so all there is to say... is where's the comedy? Barring one scene of ecchi comedy, where the heck is the laughing moments that pulled me in?!

It's w/e for the moment because it's an OVA and we all know that OVAs tend to push the envelope more so than the series that show them every week. I might have to take an ecchi break after this ep. I might not watch another one for at least a week. xD!

Do anyone know if they are gonna make a season 2 or are they planning to make one, i'f would really like to know

What no Celine!?!?!?!! Does that mean no kiss between Yami and Rito?!?!?!?!? Celine is a pretty important plot coupon which helps develop certain relationships even in her 1st form.

Maybe they'll try and BS her into the story the same way that I'm hoping that they will bring in Nana and Momo as well.

I mean it feels like this could get a proper second season if they felt like adding in the characters from the OVA episodes now.

I think they have enough history and characters(Momo, Nana, Celine among others) to make a second season, when they are going to make it? well that's a good one, i believe they relesae these OVAs to check if they still have a fanbase but i hope this lead to the second season... well the time has the last word. But i'm waiting for a second season

I would say that this ep has fulfilled my want for a second season as well. There was some magic on display as they tackled a staple less explored. It is a valid one for me though. On any account, Kid-Wolf should be happily pushed into a great spot. His two characters that he was looking for made their appearance. Didn't see Lala as the older sis type but now that adds more to her appeal, I reckon.

call me old-fashioned but I actually felt like I was back in season 1 of this series again. Chuckles all over the place kept me entertained from one side of things to the other. I need someone to punch my ticket for the second seaon bandwagon... I might never get off of it again!

I haven't had a chance to watch this since my laptop is a piece of crap.

Anyway, how is this? a follow up on the manga ending, or just random manga chapters?

Just random Manga chapters with some anime original things. But the greatest difference compared to the manga is that the anime is actually pretty good.

It's basically what they should of done, if they went with the manga a bit more. Also, it kind of makes no sense since Celine was never involved in the anime at all. But it was fun to see Lala's sisters Nana and Momo involved now.

Just watched the OVA and I woudlve thought to say that, but the manga version of this was far better -.-
Somehow the OVAs are just a joke.
A second season wouldve been better.

I really looked forward to this part because it was one of the few parts in the manga who were actually good.

@Kid-Wolf: The same with Oshizu-chans human body. It was never told that Mikado-sensei made a body for her in the anime.

But she was working for her at the school and her personal office as well. So in actuality they kind of implied on it a little bit, but not too much though. Although for the manga it was a shame that it ended so abruptly like that, but he said it was due to personal issues though so you can't really blame him.

I dont blame him because it ended, Im really glad that he ended it because compared to the anime it was just a waste of time.
I wonder how the same Mangaka who did Black Cat could do something awful like To Love-Ru.
No story, every chapter the same old jokes and almost nothing new since chapter one.

Hence....its cancellation.

I can't believe this caused the cancellation of Mx0.....it was such a shame and now to see the manga for this to axed....I'm like crying to the gods "WHY !?!?!?".
