as for the joke-sub, im pretty sure some lameo intern hacked into somehting or something like that. i dont know what YGO's forum URL is so i cant tell you if someone made a post about it intheir forums

well at least ONE good thing came outta this...i found new animes i can enjoy during this 3 week hiatus.

I realize how this is going to sound, but I am totally new to fansub groups. Plus, being a relitively new fan of Tsubasa Chronicles (I just sarted watching it last week), I don't understand what Yugioh has done to upset/offend you.

Since I haven't gotten to the episodes subed by them yet (I just finished 28), could you explain what they did?

They released a episode which was supose to be episode 36 (i think can't remember) but it was really just an parady of an old episode, (the subs were completly different to what they were actually saying and had sexual and explicit langauge, the openning and ending themes were also really screrewed up and scary!!!! )

But that was ok its what they didn't do they well making us annoyed.... which is not releasing the episode on time!! (well depends on your definition of on time but i think there was one point where they released an episode 2 weeks late?)

I think thats about it..........
How ever i don't hold a grudge against them or anything and i think its nice of them sub the anime
But i would have to say they are not as good as the previous fansub group (who dropped the project )

@Exar: PLZ REMOVE ur links. The tsubasa chronicle manga IS LICENSED by del rey. It is forbidden my friend to post links of licensed anime and/or manga in fstv and forums

is okay, i think i was a bit harsh in my previous post, but just remember to read/know the rules and check whether the anime/manga is licensed or not before posting links, cuz im sure none of us active members on fstv forums would like to see this site shut down because of getting into trouble for distributing/hosting licensed anime/manga.

they went on vacation, shut the site down with no info for a month. they could've explained why they were shutting down but they didnt. a moth later after being behind 3 episodes knowing everyone was thirsty for Tsubasa, they put out an old episode that contained dialogue that did not go with the show, with the title "This Is What Leechers Get For Bitching" and it was peverted dialouge which belonged on some type of sick 1/2 gay hentai.

This is just to put it short, but that is what mostly ticked me off. they wanna play games like that and treat me like it hit and run well now I do. I just direct D/L from this site and everything is good now. I just gotta learn some patience and understand that Fansubs need vacations too. But I don't go on many vacations, it must be the wonderful life that's on the other side I'm chasing....sigh. BUt I'm Gonna get mines and do right by it B/C i dont need jewlery, expensive clothes and big ol' gas guzzling cars and SUV or expensive imports and luxury sudans but actually help people who's been hit by something like Hurricane Katrina B/C our Gov. ani't gonna do it for the poor. But that's about it in the first paragraph...anymore questions? about the Episode 35/20something switched subs incident? lemme know.

PS the episode wade uploaded somewhere b/c a lot of people found it funny and i did a lil bit so unless anyone else has the URL, I'll try to look for it myself but i think it is posted on one of these forum pages already i guess i'll look for it and quote it ya some other time when i have time. truthfully, i hope someone beats me to it and post the link.

Episode 36 Fake/Joke Sub

I see that they are also trying our patience again by not releasing for 2 weeks now with no release. I know they're getting an earful from angry viewers. So I'm not gonna say anything and just wait, I know now that if the file is too short and d/l too quick, then i know that it will be a jokesub. Thanks for the hint, yugi, I'll be watchin' ya!!!!

Even if they take quite sometime to put up another episode of Tsubasa Chronicles, and although I would like to see the next one soon, I'm patient enough to wait for the next one.

Since if it wasn't for them, who at this point would provide us with the anime that many desire? If there happens to be another fansub group, then that's something I don't know about. But regardless, if I'm able to watch anime that people would normally not see in places other than Japan, way before their licensed for commercial use like in the US, then I'm thankful of their services. I have no right to be mad at them.

You do have the right to go watch something else, unless your willing to go to the trouble and fansubbing it for so many people yourself.

I think someone mentioned that they got charged for their internet connection as far as download usage goes. I mean it does suck to having wasted your bandwith downloading a ridiculous episode that they fansubbed to push people off their backs for a little while. But isn't that a small price to pay in the world that we still obtain our entertainment? If much of this stuff wasn't for free, then it would surely supercede the cost of your internet services. You are definitely getting much more out of the internet world then what your wallet might be paying for in reality.

And so, patience is something that I've gotten use to.

I didn't really like episode 38... it was kinda... boring. The funniest part was Kurogane sitting next to that grandpa with that dull look on his face
But I really thought they were overdoing it by letting Syaoran say: it was all my fault blablabla..... =_= at that point they lost Sakura's feather.

I wonder what the next episode will be like though... I mean, it doesn't really look like Syaoran if he wants to get such bike from the gang to get the feather... (I'm confused)

Ouch, I will need to wait until the weekend over to watch episode 38.
I even cannot download it now...since I'm stay over in my friend's room and I'm run out of space in my HD... Cannot burn it right now....

Ah well, if Noshi said it is boring maybe it will not be so hurt to wait 2 more days.

aint nobody begging, im just burned by one. since DB dropped the project it takes forever to translate (2 days compared to 3 weeks? which do you think is better?) two. they make us wait three weeks before they released the episode only to watse it with dirty and gay dialogue. three. they treated everyone like a f'n fool like everyone on their tsubaba board bombarded them with angry emails since i wasn't one of them i was upset to see the b/s they gave us and made us wait another week for the real thing. well my answer to that is not to seed anything that yugioh translates and two to NEVER give them a dime. so they lost a fan and if it is translated by yugioh, I hope another subber gets it b/c i know that it'll be a long wait f'n w/ yugioh. they can have their damn fun, i know i wont be a victim to it no more except for these long ass waits b/c no one else is subbing tsubasa chronicles.

1st of all u need to chill out a bit. 2nd, we should be fortunate that there is even one fansub group out there that is willing to sub tsubasa s2. and a fact i might have not mentioned in this tsubasa chronicles thread is kazenokoe (aka knkf) fansubs has picked up s2 as a project. Only problem is, they have only subbed ep27.

Just know no matter what anyone says, it will not change my mind about yugioh. so off the subject and another 3 weeks wait for the next episode, whoop-de-freakin'-do!!!!

But I must say that i'd rather wait for japanese anime b4 I even watch what they try to push to us in america. Most of these cartoons have hidden or blatant gay refrences or is just plain corny.

Actually there is no need to be thanks to those yugioh group, I really apreciate those people who spend their time working hard so we can watch anime series that we all love in the less time posible, since not many people know japanese but almost 1/3 of the people in the world speak english. Things like this used to happen in the past to, but there were so many groups making fansubs that all of them were playing a race to see whos fansubs were more chose by the fans indeed those who upload it first to the internet has advantage. But it was sad to see that your work doesnt worth for anything if the fans doesnt chose your work, so the competence ended now the new groups that make the fansubs chose one anime and work on it but when that happen the others groups think that is better to work on something else some other anime, since yugioh took tsubasa chronicles and they have not quit, no one will take the risk of work on it so they get their hands busy in something else, but if they had really quit on tsubasa chronicles someone would take the project. Now is true that is a damn free service but as I remember all they say this is a "work for fans made by fans" I am really thanksful to those groups that work so hard to allow us to watch anime and understand it I even learned english thanks to them (now you know why my english is not very good XD) but if someone is making a free work then comes and tell me ok I am tired and is the fault of some guy or some damn problem thats ok the fans can understand that, but dont come and tell me that you are doing your best so we better be thanksful and shut our mouths when you do that you turn your best work into your worst. So well I am not mad at them just dissapointed I help somefriends to translate english subbed anime to spanish and I dont care about be no one in the fansubs world or not get a cent for doing so.

I think we should post in the proper thread (including YuGiOh subbers) cause this is the thread for season 1 in some people haven't noticed (not pointing fingers of anything )

so if we want to complain about how badly YuGiOh is subbing TRC then we should complain in the proper thread (since they proubably didn't have much to do with season one)

is it possible to like the anime and hate the subber? yes it is. Because they do such kiddie stuff as yu-gi-oh, i expect them to act like kids. Any grown person PLAYING with cards have to be idiots anyway so b/c of thier involvment w/ yugioh, i don't expect them to act like grown-ups. I HATE YUGIOH ALL DAY ALL THINGS YUGIOH, ESPECIALLY THE FACT THAT THEY ARE SUBBING ONE OF MY FAVORITE ANIMES!!@!!!

I can't believe that except for [YugiOh!], no other English fansub take care of this project!
Now it takes forever for the next episodes after 38 to come and when this 2nd series of Tsubasa Chronicle is completed after episode 52 and get licensed like season 1, I'm afraid that's the time when it's probably going to be a very good excuse for [YugiOh!] not subbing this any more.
It sucks anyway!
