Well it's probablly that bird picking up what Taiga was saying and backfeeding it in the wrong way. Besides I'm supprised that bird hasn't died as of yet. Never the less it was interesting on how Ryuuji was yelling at Taiga about her father while he blurted out about things about his father to her.

In any case it seems Taiga might be upset about how Ryuuji has the same problem that she has... more or less.

why doesn't FTV have the episode yet? Usually we get it pretty promptly but it is getting a bit frustrating seeing comments about an episode I've yet to see

Oh boy... oh boy, oh boy...

What do we have here?! I'll tell you! This is what happens when friends try to force their own feelings into a situation that was built on totally different scenarios altogether!

Taiga's Pops... didn't even show up. So, wouldn't that make the one in the wrong Ryuuji for forcing Taiga into a situation that she knew wasn't going to go anywhere?!

Such is the way of people who are put in a spot that they've never been in before. There's no given promises that things will work out for the absolute better just because you hope a lot more than they do that it'll work. That kind of delusional thinking led to some past scars being torn open all over again. I can relate, ironically seeing as I've tried to force a friend into a friendship with their estranged parent... just to see them fall out that much harder in the longer haul.

That would make Ryuuji the worst kind of individual to be at this juncture... a busybody! Not that Minorin wasn't... but she was the best friend a lot longer so she must have known a little more about just what kinda guy Taiga's dad is. Blarg, there are too many questions and not enough answers for me to stomach in one sitting so I'm going to just come back and edit later on.

Ah... and I thought that it was really a Hallmark moment when Ryuuji's Mom dropped the bomb and verified what Minorin had already said in the first place. At that moment, I actually physically and verbally reacted in the same way at Ryuuji!

A moment like that totally makes you feel like it's one of those shows that you'll be re-watching for a long time. o_o;

I guess the only question that I have at this point, was whether it was for the better or worse that Ryuuji exploded the way that he did because of the fact that this kind of relationship is something that he's secretly longed for but ultimately never had? Ah... I'm not a child psychologist... at least, yet... so I can't possibly comprehend but speculation is always a fun tool.

Whenever that happens she always tends to rush over to doing whatever to Ryuuji. Although Taiga tends to blush rather easily.

In any case I stand corrected about Taiga's father in this episode now.I guess the smooth talking he did last episode kind of got to me. In any case I didn't think that this would turn out to be a threee part episode bit here. Although I have to say the pro wrestling show they did was pretty good. In ay case Taiga is more worried about Ryuuji apologizing to Minori then having him console Taiga.

In any case why do I get this feeling someone is about to recive a savage beatdown in the next episode though.

The show is getting better and better. Tiga is one of my favorit charactor types for male and female leads in anime. Her father suddenly showing up after a long absence and Tiga and Minori's response had one thing flashing in my mind. It was the feeling of Tigas parents haveing problems like infidelity, seperation, and divorce.
Well, no matter what it is, I love this show. I havent seen this type of anime in this style in a long time. Whoever wrote the anime did an amazing job. There are no guns, boobs, blood, or super powers. Its refreshing.

theres blood...and boobs, AMi's got boobs, and she most defintely likes showing them off at the beach and pool. and Ryo's Mom has boobs... and is always wearing them revealing outfits...

Well, we've got ourselves a 3 parter on the cultural festival. At least the writers didn't use a cliche with the class project being a pro wrestling show. The teacher's (lack of) marriage crisis really came on strong.I wonder what happened during summer vacation to stress her so badly (her mom I suspect).I have no idea where the show is going next and that really pleases me. I did notice ANN now has this show down for 25 episodes ...Yay. But just to pique your interest and curiosity, ep 14 is entitled The Palmtop Tiger of Happiness.Interesting eh?

And Taiga...well, she got left out in that department.

Man, when Minorin is that adament about Taiga's dad being a bad guy, you would think Ryuji would take the time to get her perspective on the situation before going off. Of course he has his own father issues clouding things, but even his Mom is getting bad vibes off him, so he needs to stop projecting and listen to the people around him.

Yes! And I love how the writer dissed the cliche by making nearly every other class a cosplay cafe. It was like serving notice to other writers that it's long past time for them to start being more creative.

Poor Ryuuji, all he wants is Taiga to get along with her father, seems like he has created a train wreck instead.

I also agree somebody is either going to explode or have an epiphany next episode. Actually, I'm thinking Taiga is going to explode, and by the preview, Ryuuji is going to finally understand (feelings towards Taiga?) Actually I am going to bet the farm on this one. My backing for this is that Episode 14 is called; The Palm Top Tiger Of Happiness.

Also Taiga seemed much more "giddy" in this episode. The truffle scene was funny, and I lost it when she wants Ryuuji to smell her Oh and the Homeroom teacher's string of faith OMG!!!

well, if they stay on track with the novels like they have been this entire time; you wont see Ryuuji show affection towards anyone for a good while longer (aka ever) so there'll have to be some anime originality or simply a good stopping point like they do with most great animes... most likely the latter

yeah seriously, they have been emphasizing on breasts since this show started, i cant count how many times Ami gave us some bouncing service, atop all the exposed cleavage

There isnt anything on this show that you would not let a child see. There are girls, and yes, girls have boobs! Being a school romance anime requires the guy to notice girls. Of course Ryuji dosent have boobie fever like most anime charactors(and us the viewers). Most likely caused by haveing a beautiful and well endowed mother and no father. If your hoping to see an ecchi show then you got the wrong anime.

i dont think id show a child this anime...theres alot of...anger in it... and any anime with a "fanservice" episode IS ecchi. probally even be a few nip shots in the dvd.

theres at least 1 or 2 animes each season that fit that criteria. you are just not looking hard enough. they are called "everyday life" or "school life" animes, or sumthing like that, sure Toradora stands out amongst the rest cause it has good writing, but its not like its original or anything.

lol, you got his/her number it seems; there really isn't an arguement here... this is a normal school life anime and if anyone is suprised at that then the simple reason is they don't know what genres are for or don't watch enough anime... and considering your posting on this site, its the first... btw there is quite clearly some ecchi in this anime so lets not act like this is the holy anime of 08; trying to deny how we get zoom-ins ain't gonna work here

anyway i'm actually quite interested as to how Taiga's father will try and weasel his way out of this one i'd like to see how they potray his... "true self" in the anime, maybe we'll even get a nice apology from Ryuuji considering this is his fault for not minding his own business (thats why family matters are called family matters, no?)

I just watched episode 12 and 13 together and I was glad that I'm late for ep12 but early for ep 13.

DAMN Taiga's dad.....wow on Ryuuji and Minorin's argument and then race...holding hands together....what a quick make-up.

Minorin as a lesbian....WTF........but wait it could be true..you saw her crying so hard when clapping and how fast she was running in the race....honestly, do you believe it was all for "friendship"....BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!             

Ami-chan is soooo kawaii......can't wait for that arc to begin....most likely gonna start in about 3 or 4 episodes.
