I also watched the first episode and i must say it is interesting. Taiga sure looks and acts like a mean tiger
im just waiting for SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP! ill give this show a chance but i swear they always use that womans voice for small abusive women

An anime with a guy who is labeled as a delinquent but isn't? they way it was done was a nice change of pace. Might keep with this series.

Sereis dropped. Reminds me too much of how ZnT season 2 started.
Looks like I was right about the "Urusai" being in there but instead of a triple, it was a double..
Aww man you never gave it too much of a chance did you? i wouls honestly it wouldnt be good to drop it because the way the manga is going it is set to be a very well made anime as long as they keep following the manga like in episode 1. Well episode was good and the way i would have thought it to be. Although Ryuuji's character design was unexpected to me it turns out that i rather like it after seeing it in the anime. I guess illl go catch up on the manga tomorow when i have free time. XD But i strongly reccomend you rethink about dropping this before it has even began first, but i dont know what you like and this might not be your thing, im just saying what i would do.XD ![]() Visit my city and see the shinigamii realm.shiniville Check out my Random Blog. ![]() ![]() <Trivia> Hint: The Pe**o* *u** *o* Me <@KansaLovePrimula> can i buy a vowel Jun: lol sometimes you really need a kansa-english, english-kansa dictionary |

i liked the first episode of this series a lot. very zero no tsukaima reminicent, what with all the "dog" talk and so forth. looks good

First episode looks good, if anyone is interested they have up to chapter 12 of the manga scanlated.
Hmmmm, just watched the first episode, and I must say I am not a 1000% sure where the series is going to go. I can only wait and see.

Seems like Taiga is voiced by the one and only Kugimiya Rie. She definitely suits that role the best, especially after being characters such as Nagi, Shana and Louise.
After watching the first episode I'm looking forward to see how this develops I also like how they made Ryuji a decent guy, but take after his fathers looks so people think he is some sort of delinquent badass. |
As I expected from having read the first chapters of the light novels, and manga, the anime has started nicely. It seemed to me that Rie Kugimiya had a different voice for Taiga than for Nagi/Louise/Shana however. More forceful, or angry perhaps. And of course Minori being voiced by Yui Horie is great, but I want another anime where Horie is the lead girl!

its only the first episode so far, but i'm liking what I've seen so far, surprising, considering i should be at least a little sick of tsundere characters after going thru the recent ZnT series, but Taiga is growing on me, wouldn't want to meet someone like that in real life, but she'll always be good for a laugh at poor ryuji's expense ^^)
if anything, taiga seems even rougher, tougher and more violent (is that even possible) than her other incarnations in ZnT and shakugan no shana, but still makes for an introduction to the characters, and thinking about how ryuji could possibly handle a spitfire like taiga should make for an entertaining series. to think I was going to give this a pass, because character sounded so much like louise (she is like that), but still taiga is so darn gosh cute, when she's quiet (looks like a cute little doll), if only she'll just Urusai herself, she'll have boys flocking to her. enough talk, time for me to find the rest of the associated manga, while waiting for next week's episode. seriously, if you like comedy, and girls with spirit (boy, does she ever have spirit), and who are not afraid of a little 'violence' (what's a sword between friends |

Well I managed to see the first episode, and it's pretty good to watch. Also, in the end she did have a Tiger nickname afterall. I never would of guess this would be a fun series to watch though.
Also, with being a Type-Moon salve and seeing her swing around a wooden sword like that remined me of Taiga from Fate/stay night as well there. ![]() - Miko Miko Mode Oni Version - Yes, I do have a red riding hood complex... Just saw episode 2. The anime is going a hell of a lot faster than the novels. For example, .
Anyone know how many episodes this is set for? At this pace, 12 seems likely, but i would prefer something like 24. There's plenty of material. Still enjoying it though. You just have to love that parakeet. |
Inko-chan is fugly anyway i'm guessing this will get a decent way through the novels at this rate; and judging by the OP/ED the friendship between the girls is totally different... but its probably just misleading, i prefer them at eachothers throats |
I gotta tell ya, I love Ryuuji's mom.

Well I can say this it's a very good series, and a lot of fun to watch of course.
For some reason I kind of seen this "Master and Dog" routine before. Ha it might be because I kind of try to place a few Fate/stay night relations to most anime seires now. Ok aside from that who knew that Taiga would have that much furry in such a small body? ![]() - Miko Miko Mode Oni Version - Yes, I do have a red riding hood complex... You mean "Fury"? Well, it seems to me that small tsundere lolis are all the rage now, with Shana and Louise, so the fury isn't surprising. What surprises me more is her physical strength. Being able to hold her own (with or without a weapon) against a guy who's over a head taller than her is pretty impressive. And it isn't easy to throw desks across a room, especially when you're that small. |
The one thing I want ot understand is how she wrecked the entire classroom while she was in the cleanning closest in episode one. I really like ot know how someone can pull off a stunt like that to begin with.

You can say that again Just saw episode 2 and i must say the series is really enjoyable till now. It seems rushed (with the talk of Taiga's parents and living alone). I hope that they show a bit more depth going into that problem. Taiga sure seems to be stubborn as hell and not to admit she may be falling in love with Ruuji. Ruuji seems farther because if he really liked Minori he wouldn't have left her standing while rushing to find Taiga. Seems that this can give lots of problems in the future So i am certainly to keep on watching this one |
