i just watched the raw of 15 and i have to say since im terrible at japanese i can't wait fot the subs to fill in the gaps of words i cant understand, now i will say it again, i will almost bet the farm that this will turn out the way i have said before, everybody will stay friends, and it will continue the way it is, there will be no real pairing, and they will leave a big hole in the series, and just hint at what might happen, i have seen this time and time again in anime, if there is a pairing i will be suprised, and as alwaysjust look at the opening credits for clues, we have now seen most of the shows that the clips are used in the opening, but when will we see the one where they all are at the coffee shop?
remember they all dont usually hang out together, so that right there is a hint to the series |

nice intuition and logic... you could become a detective or a computer scientists... even i didn't notice those things...
|
|
So anyway, does ep 15 have the new OP? Ne, ne, ne?
|
|
hahaha |
|
i think the new OP will be soon because the release date for hocchan's new single is near... and for as much as i know, the new OP was sung by hocchan...

Alrighty I've finally gotten around to seeing 15 now and I have to say it seems Kitamura is still in shock with whatever the school president said to him. Never the less I was supprised on how Taiga liked hanging around with him, and how she is pretty good in the batting cages as well.
Also, it seems that Ami is letting this go since she probably knows what's going n and letting things blow over. As for Minori she's trying to do whatever she can, and it seems that there is some kind of development between Minori and Ryuuji as well. In the end Taiga isn't that great of a public speaker since she tends to say the wrong things as well, but it's just so cute seeing her try really hard though. ![]() - Miko Miko Mode Oni Version - Yes, I do have a red riding hood complex... The real star of 15 was Ya-chan. I had to watch both of her scenes over and over cause it was so funny.
So Kitamura feels like the friend who always tags along and shows up regardless of if you want him to or not. As kid-Wolf said, I am also surprised how Taiga was able to hang around him with relative ease. Yeah she was a bit awkward but so much better then at the beach house. Ryuuji and Taiga looking at the stars was touching, I would have liked a inner voice come from Ryuuji questioning his feelings at this point. I feel that I need a little more direction as to what possible pairing might occur, I mean we are going into 16 and so far Toradora has kept it extremely level and indecisive. I think the perfect president would actually be Ami, Overall 15 was ok, for Kitamura fans I bet you loved it. I found it more burdensome that Ryuuji is now dragged into this mess. You know he's gonna have to be responsible for everything that is going to happen, espically with Taiga running. ![]() |

Wolf I wasn;t surprised Taiga would be good in the batting cages at all. Remember Taiga's hobby is vale tudo and so she's very accurate and strong when it comes to striking things with a stick. To taiga the ball is just a moving target
By the way is it just me or when Kitumara was asleep without his glasses did he look an awful lot like Ryuuji? Whilst I agree that Ami would have a fair amount of ease controlling the other students I doubt she has the patience for it though or the inclination to handle the problems of everybody she's not interested in in some way. I;d have to say my fave part of this episode was at the end when Taiga shouts "When I become student president, all your memories will be buried!" |

Eeh~ The emo Kitamura is not interesting at all~ Can't wait for them to get over this lame ark...
Feels kinda forced too - ep. 14 didn't really show him depressed or anything, he seemed to have gotten over it quickly. |

Ya chan is awesome! To be woken up out of a sound sleep by Taiga's histrionics and not yell at the kids-wow. It shows the love she has for Ryuuji and Taiga. She truly is a yamato nadeshiko. She should have a big s on that formidable chest of hers, because she is supermom. The student council prez is not a nice person. I suspect she had an agenda for Kitamura to follow as council prez that he found distasteful. I also enjoyed the conversation Minori and Ryuuji had along the river.
it reinforced the feeling I had that she was putting on a face.Ryuuji has become the rock for all his friends to cling onto. Taiga and Ryuuji, student council prez and vp---the thought must send chills through the faculty. The next ep should be a hoot. I think we should give thanks to the people at Coal Guys for such a speedy job.The sound you hear is my hat being removed. The response from us fans here at FTV has been impressive- almost 5500 dls in 12 hours.I think it has been the leader for several weeks, if not, in the top 3. |

now i have seen the translated version on 15, and im still leaning towards the ending i said in the last post i did,it seems everybody likes someone else, lets see, tiaga likes kitamura, kitamura likes the student council president, ryuuji likes minorin, she seems to like someone but is being disshounest with herself, but it might not be ryuuji, ami like ryuuji, so as it stands now, everybody will end up with nobody, unless there is a major ark swing in an episode soon, because there are only 10 episodes left, or mabey 11 left.
so thats my synopsis so far, it is a great series and i hope to get my hands on the first dvd release that comes out in a few days, i might even put subs on the dvd since i know how, and i do have the subs for it, i just hope that there is a pairing of any type, i do not want it to end, the way its heading now........ |
|
can't wait till it comes out on DVD.

I add myself to this... thanks for such commitment and hard work !!
I can't quite put my finger on why but that scene seemed a bit rushed .. it does hint a deeper perception from Kushieda (which i was hoping for) but in the end is all a reflection of Ami as seen by Minorin...
I think this a hint to the development of the relationship... as taiga feelings of elation towards Kitamura are reduced she keeps growing warmer to Ryuji... I'm sure she'll be over him before the ending (but the ending might still be open)
I'm not sure that would have been a good idea I might be reading too deep i think ....... maybe |
|
uhm... about that... i am not forcing you but i think you should read the novel... it has everything in it... but all the inner thoughts are ryuuji's alone... UNYAA~?!?! |

I thought the Minorin and Ryuuji discussion about maturity and Ami was fairly interesting. Although Minorin loves to be ditsy you tend to get the feeling (usually after convo's with Ryuuji) that she's actually pretty deep. Lots going on up in that noggin of her's that I hope we get to disect properly before the series is over.
I look at how Ami treated the Kitamura situation as something a truly close friend would do. You notice how everyone else was in freakout mode trying to reason w/him and paying him tons of attention. That pretty much showed me that Kitamura doesn't really have many close friends. He is looked up to as a role model student counsel figure and puts up the persona expected of him. It's ironic that he accused Ami of doing the exact same thing and maybe realizes that now thus the rebellious streak. I could be off base here but that's just another viewpoint because his shift in attitude might not possibly be do to anything relating to romance. What if the discussion between the student counsel president and himself really just had to do w/him taking her place. He might feel the pressure of not living up to the expectations of the person he admires? I'm also starting to get the feeling that there won't be any definite pairings when this is all said and done. But as long as they keep doing a quality job w/the characters and interactions that doesn't really bother me in the least. ![]() It's too big (big), It's too wide (wide), It's too strong (strong), It won't fit (fit), It's too much (much), It's too tough (tough) Senpai talk like this cause he can back it up (In 3rd-person), He got a big ego, Such a huge ego (see ftv awards below), We love his big ego, it's too much, Senpai walk like this 'cause he can back it up! Episode 15...BLONDE BOMBSHELL ALERT!!!!
Anyways, Kitamura has become a wreck and Kanou-chan is not all that bad and I wonder what will happen from now on. |
|
I think Kanou really does like Kitamura a lot inspite of what she appears to be doing in the eyes of the others. If she didn't like him she wouldn't be disappointed in his reactions so my thoughts are that she's secretly hoping he'll rise above the problems. I think Kanou's actions are probably the wisest thing she can do, because as you say if she did things at a later point that would be even crueller but this way Kitamura has a chance to pull himself together instead of being instantly crushed.
Personally if I had someone like Taiga as a class president I'd be terrified, even if I liked that person there'd be this gut feeling of a dictator taking over (she even has a henchman). |
|
^ Not to mention the "evil" black capes ^___^ Or the fact that it's all just a farce anyway
|
|
i think kitamura was doing this to prevent kanou-senpai from doing something...
UNYAA~?!?! |

I read Senpai Kun's post and it really made me think about how the relationships between the principals and their characters themselves had been changing. I haven't read the novels so I'm speculating here and going with what my gut is telling me. Taiga is mellowing just a teeny bit.Ya chan's 'adoption' of her seems to have made her more comfortable and secure. She is not reflexively hitting people as much any more. When she first met Ami, Taiga slapped her in the restaurant. Now she wrestles with her. Minori is starting to drop her facade, at least with Ryuuji. I posted before that I couldn't be convinced she's an airhead. Her conversation with Ryuuji along the river, as Senpai Kun said in his post, showed that brains are at work in her head. She deserves more screentime and some backstory.Ami is not as obsessed with keeping her image perfect. She told her mom that she had made some friends. Kitamura may have a thing for Katou san, the prez, but I don't feel it's anxiety over his ability to do the job that caused him to snap. The prez is a manipulator. Senpai Kun's last point that maybe nobody would hook up with anybody really hit a nerve. I wonder if what we've got here is a coming of age story. What we've been watching is a bunch of individual teenagers becoming a circle of friends and, with it, adults.Toradora's director made Honey and Clover II which had a coming of age facet to it. This could all be delusional bs on my part.My fellow Toradora fans, what do you think will happen?
