This series is gonna be 39 episodes....yeah, you got that right....this is no typo....it is going to be THIRTY-NINE EPISODES!! BUT....THE BIG BUT is....its for KIDS.

The anime will be a science-fiction adventure aimed at children to teach chemical elements. The project is a joint production between Japan and Korea for both television and merchandising.

Plot:

In 2029, a large scale ground sinkage occurred in Mediterranean Sea and chemical elements such as oxygen, carbon, gold, molybdenite, and cobalt suddenly disappeared from the earth's crust. Human population was decreased by 90% in sixty years. Researchers found out that the disappeared elements were drained into a planet "Nega Earth", which located in different dimensions. To save the Earth, a special team "Element Hunter" is organized. All the members are under 14 years old because young and flexible brains are required to access to "Nega Earth".

My Thoughts:

I'm definitely gonna watch this because I'm NOT a kid physically anymore but in heart.

BTW, the animation looks REALLY REALLY good.

Looks good and I like some kiddy anime if it has a good story and animation. Downloading first episode. Will come back later to give my opinion on it. Thanks, Capitano for the heads up!
Edit: I doubt this is for kids as a reference is made in the beginning, on how some guy, wants to "bang a cutie over there." And "colorful" language is used as well, unless, of course, the Japanese don't mind their kids being disrespectful in class. So, it may be suitable for "older kiddies" but not for youngsters...something is fishy though...

I just watched the First Subbed episode by Fabulous.

Is it me Or isn't the translation right?

Lines likes : Hey F***stick / This place isn't right for Bitches. / I want to bang that cutie over there. ( this line is even being spoken by a teacher in a classroom )

That's what I'm thinking...or the fansubbers are pulling our leg. They use the word MoFo as well, when the Space Commander refers to those three kids, who are reporting for duty. Weird...annoying, in fact. And how can a 12 year old call his friend a "bitch"...a girl and she's all smiles and the boy gets away with it? This must be a BS translation...if it gets any worse, with the upcoming episodes, I am gonna have to "bang" this one off my computer and into the dropped anime section due to poor translation/trash talk and ruined fun...

That said, I might watch the first episode just to get the "lulz" out of the troll subs.

Well, if that be true, they best be rollin, cause it is bad and a shame, as I wanted to re-learn all of my Chemistry again with cute Lolos and pre-teen Lolis... I was gonna comment on their stupid site but decided I ain't gonna be flamed...I am interested in your take, Megiddo-san, after you plough through the first episode.

Well, I watched it... and while I'd like to pretend that I was appalled by the troll subs, I have to be honest and say that pretty much any shred of enjoyment I had by watching Elementaru Huntaru derived from those troll subs.

So basically, I laughed when the girl was shreiking because of the giant lizard thing (which for some reason was representative of the gas element Nitrogen), and my Homie said "This place ain't safe for bitches".

Yep. I know, I'm terrible. But this show is terrible. It's extremely generic, and I can't possibly fathom what this teaches kids about chemistry other than cell phones can do all sorts of crazy stuff.

So yeah, "Fabulous!"

Ah...aside from being a stupid show they went and made it worse...laughable? **** yeah...I laughed when I saw the teacher using colorful language. Now, personally, I have always liked the term, MOFO but only when Mugen uses it in Samurai Champloo... not on some "kiddie show." Well, it was fun...too bad, it was not as good as it looked. Have fun watching Capitano!

That's something I'd never do. I hate trolls, unless it was meant to be a parody like they did with the gundam episodes a lot.

I know you know as you are a TL for the FTV team so it must have really made you laugh. I don't think I've ever been suckered before with any other series as far as subbing goes and me thinking, "now, wait just a minute here." I mean come on! The teacher with a straight face, telling that sleepy kid he was gonna "teach him how to score bitches?" Gee...then one would think the series was about "hoes and scorin and bitches..." yeah right...was fun though to engage you all and be amused by everyone's take on it. Funny!

Hmm, well, now we all knew how little chance there was of a decent subbing team picking this one up. Now there's pretty much NO chance whatsoever. I guess I'll be watching RAWs then.

Unfortunately, there's only LQ raws available on public torrents, thus far, at least.

Now, hold your horses, my friend! It is quite possible the FTV sub team here, will sub this one and if they do, I will pick it up as I wanted to watch but well, as you read by the posts in its current state, it stinks...don't give up yet, Ausdoerrt-san! Kit did confirm the current fansub group is a troll...

Well, I'm DLing the raw right now, since it's supposed to be a kids' show I should be able to understand most/all of it.

EDIT: Haha, the first ep was sort of cute and funny. I don't think I'll watch the show, but it is definitely surprising to what extent the Japanese will go just to teach some basic Chemistry to kids... I guess their teachers much be in real trouble...

Still, it's an interesting way to make a show. The series also sports animation quality that could probably beat most other shows this summer, and a cool ending song about the chemical elements (wait, what?)

If anyone is wondering....girl that looks like Marta from Tales of Symphonia is a claim here......As for the show I'm pretty sure as to which direction this show might be heading and it's quite interesting. It's a shame that Eclipse might not be picking up the series since it's a kiddy show but this gives us an opportunity to try to sub a full series

Did anyone had some lag spikes on the piece? I am using the latest CCCP codec pack, and i can't get past the first 10 minutes or so... i feel i am streaming the file, also because of this i came to feel this was actually a 480 scaled to be defaulted @ 1080i... because at that resolution it looks worse than many other releases that settled for a 720p....

so the issue with the resolution is not only me..... i think (HOPE) this group will fall through the cracks if they don't pull their act together....

My laptop completely failed on the supposed 1080p file, so I just downloaded the SD instead.

At first I was like, subs wat? Then I thought it was about to settle into some sort of alternate reality scifi in the vein of zega pain or the matrix, but then it started doing the Pokemon thing with the elements. The subs kept me watching through the end, tho. Very funny. Probably wouldn't watch another ep, parody subs or no.

The best RAW out there is an mp4 file with pretty low resolution. So yeah. If you don't wanna be spoiled, either wait for good subs or get the RAW.

Bleh, why doesn't someone ban the stupid troll subs and delete them from the main page?

Ok just because I'm kind of curious about this series, is the first episode the only troll sub or are there two troll sub groups?

I only ask since it seems a group that I know of is doing the job here as well.
