I think that was the point! I kind of feel that some of the characters are so cliché. So many successful harems have these combination of characters that they've become generic to me. In any case, these characters are working!! (no pun intended, maybe) for me as long as they have many more interesting facets to their personalities. |
|
I need more of the Planetes-esque boss.
That said, this show is somewhat entertaining. |
|
Episode 03 was pretty entertaining but it felt really short this time, I did see the scenes after the ED....so I didn't miss anything.
I watched the FFFpeeps version, its a speedsub release, so the actual RAW they used was kinda crap. DAMN.....I watched episode 2 with incomplete subs and episode 3 with not-so-great video quality. Should I just re-watch episode 2 and 3 when a good release of them come out, I think there is a better version of episode 2 out already. |

Kyouko really knows how to handle the persons around her. I dont think Ive seen someone who is that positive about the fact that they cant work ^^
Yachiyo was great too, I wouldnt have thought that she would be so jealous just because Otou brought cookies and stuff. But whats with his wife? Seems like she is even worse with directions than Zoro from OP. It would be great to see her in the series. My Animelist Top 5 of currently airing TV-series:(03.06.11) 1. Deadman Wonderland 2. Steins;Gate 3. Dog Days 4. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai 5. Tiger & Bunny (long time runs not included) |

Episode 4 was very funny. I like how Souta knows the weakness of everybody and plays with it. But knowing that his own weakness is Inami was too funny xD
We also finally saw the sisters of Takahashi. I thought they'd be more mean to him but it seems they just enjoy picking on him which is just normal between brothers and sisters. |
|
I totally forgot to post about episode 04, which was a BLAST because we finally got to meet his sisters.
I watched the FFFpeepsremux, basically a small group who used FFF's subs and then encoded it into a much more awesome RAW in 720p.....PERFECT REMUXING!! |
|
Episode 4 was hilarious
I wonder what Souta knows about the manager but i guess if he did know something he wouldn't say it from fear of actually being killed. The sisters are great, I hope we get to see more a lot more of them |
|
At least we now know why Takanashi like 'little' girls and think that they should never be allowed to grow up (to become like his elder sisters) lol
|
|
Yeah but I figured that out before they even introduced his sisters.....his life has been hard on him and damn is his younger sister tall compared to him.....much taller than Poplar-chan. |

I actually sit through and watch the opening for this anime every time. It's one of the few animes of which I don't skip the opening. I just find the song to be so catchy and fun, and I like how it was animated, as if the characters were singing along.
I'm glad we finally got to see his sisters, they are a nutty bunch. I can understand Takanashi a little better now. I can kinda sympathize with him too on the height issue, I am the oldest sibling in my family and yet the shortest in height. And not just by a little bit either I'd like to see some progress between Satou-kun and Yachiyo's romance, but I think it's going to be an on going gag that she is totally oblivious to his feelings and will continue being fully devoted to Kyouko. I came across this Durarara!/Working fanart a few days ago, I thought I'd share it here. I didn't even realize that three of the seiyuus of the leads here are also working together in Durarara! Can someone please kill Inami so I can enjoy this anime? I mean, I like all the other characters, but the last 3 episodes have been practically all Inami-centered. I'd love to see more about the lazy incompetent boss, or the cooks, or Taneshima, or Yachiyo.
But Inami just has the same farking joke over and over and it's rather annoying that the show can't seem to get beyond the same joke. |
|
I have to agree with Megiddo this time.
I haven't seen episode 5 yet, but from the looks of the preview it seems to be Inami centered too, since the restaurant will be filled with male customers... Oh My Gawd! How will she handle that!?! Anyway I hope they are just focusing on her for the first few episodes, and that they will move on to more interesting characters. ![]() "If you have time to think of a beautiful end, then live beautifully until the end." -Sakata Gintoki (Gintama) My Animelist My Top Five Currently Airing Animes: (Updated: 2011/06/01) |

Episode 5 was again a good episode with some funny scenes.
Inami seems to be getting serious about getting better with men. Although i do have to agree with the two previous posts: the writers need to move on with other characters. The fun with Inami is starting to fade For the rest the vicious wheel was a nice scene and of course the explanation from Takanashi about him being the only normal person (i sure wouldn't call him that Let's hope for some new background information of the other characters. I would like to know why Poplar is working there. Next episode the sisters again. I can't wait to see them again |
|
Episode 05 was funny and I like it when Satou gets pissed when Yachiyo ask those questions that obviously strikes his heart like a sword.
I wonder how much of the manga material has been used for the anime. I hope this series is more than 12/13 episodes but I somehow fear the worst because its A-1 Pictures Inc. The next episode will be awesome as we get to know more about his abusive older sisters and his cute younger sister. |
|
I wonder how long they can keep this up. Like others, the show is beginning to wear on me because they really don't have much room to work with on such a limited plot. The OP and shorty's adorableness can only go so far.
Lets hope it gets a bit more interesting. Oh, and if anyone is good with image editing I totally want a GIF of chibizilla stomping for an avatar. |
|
Limited plot....WTF....this series is excellent for laughs more so than the moe-blob crap that many are still raving about. This series will never wear me down because I've rewatched Naru's punch sooooooooo many times that I have become an individual that loves love-hate relationships depicted in anime and love violent female characters.
To me this series will never get dry and I doubt its 4-koma success wasn't attributed to its "limited plot" but more on the fact that many new things can be introduced in the series but as we all know that this anime will definitely not be more than 26 episodes (in terms of 1st season only). |
|
I'm supprised no one has made any .gifs of her doing her random encounter punches, but I'm sure to see them sometime soon. Anyways I think they are trying to resolve her story arc beofre going onto another one it would seem, but I might say otherwise once I see episode 5 though.

I do wonder though why things slow down to a crawl once the scrolling text appears. It should be just another part of the video, right? |
|
I really loved the scenes with Satou. The weird hairstyles he did to Poplar were just awesome.
But sure, Inami is getting a bit boring, even though its still funny seeing her beating Takanish, the wall or Satou. I hope we will get to see more of the other characters soon. Especially about Kyouko, I really wonder how she did get that job. |
