I been using CCCP and Zoom Player for years, it all worked perfectly.

Until one day a few weeks ago I felt the urge to update my codecs and stuff, i donwloaded and installed the new CCCP, and it screwed my configs, for some reason Zoom Player no longer registered as being installed , plus it seems CCCP no longer comes w the option to install it

I went and searched for ZP's homepage, downloaded the last one, and installed, now everything works great except when i use video files on ZP, the audio is slightly sketchy, not that it jumps or lags, but rather that there is background noise, like i was listening to an un-tuned radio. (might have said slightly.. but enough to PISS THE ***** out of me and not let me enjoy anything)

Basically i have all haali media splitter software and ffd updated.

PS: if someone would have an old CCCP installer w zoom player on their files I would be totally indebted

If I recall correctly, many people complained regarding Zoomplayer's incompatibility with a few of the newer encodes and it's problem with playing lossless audio and video.

Suggestion:
1) use MPC. It's a much better alternative and 95% of the times you won't run into audio or video problems.
2) get CoreAVC, this may remedy your problem and allow you to continue using zoomplayer. Remember though that CoreAVC is not free so we can't give you a crack link or of the sort here. CoreAVC 2.0 will allow you to play videos with the newer encoding as of Fall 2009.
3) I would keep the updated CCCP unless you continue to plan on only watching xvids.

CCCP intentionally removed zoomplayer due to incompatibilities. Thus, zoomplayer doesn't work~
Use Media Player Classic (MPC) instead, which still comes with CCCP and is still compatible.

if all else fail use VLC for window ver 1.0.5. That version was actually good on window but on mac it suck.... next version of vlc will be better for mac....

if you really really need the old version of cccp i have it somewhere....and uploaded later...

thanks for the replies, I seem to grasp an idea of whats wrong now.

Im ZP 4ever and i dont really like that player but if its videos that have this audio ill use it since it seems i have no choice.
