Yeah, 100% real ro- CHEESY! Please don't misunderstand me, I loved the episode; but I still felt like I was watching some cheesy ass drama on the spanish channel (before the timeskip took place). The entire role play at the end was gold, and honestly... do whatever you need to keep your relationship fresh; heck, that might not even be that bad an idea to do.

That said, we're getting resets; no doubt about it. If by some chance everything was a dream, that also counts as a reset. Honestly, I want to see Tsukasa's arc since she is kind of crazy, but since she seems to be the last one on the list... I'll comment on her again in about a month or two.

Kaoru arc... seen it. It looks like she will take the role of "That female childhood friend who was bullying you but liked you the entire time". It isn't the worst approach I guess, and they can't really use the "classmate" routine; since that one goes to Tsukasa as far as I know.

Was it REALLY 10 years later? or were they roleplaying the 10 years?

yeah its 10 years later if you think about how they have a photo album with a wedding picture cause thats not something you would make a fake of for fun pretty much

Are they perhaps gonna show how he would end up with three different girls and Haruka was simply the first. sort of like alternate versions i guess.

I think thats the general idea. But still i find it kinda rushed in episode 4. They could have added a little more content on what has happend in between those 10 years.

The part where Haruka gets out of the bathtub was really great with her beeing not as cheerful as always and saying how doubted she was about everything.

After the timeskip was great too with them still roleplaying and as animewiz said, not a bad idea. Only bad thing was that they look exactly the same as 10 years ago. If I look back when I was there age Im looking almost completely different now, even though its only been 7 years since then and not 10.

But great that we saw Hibiki a few times more.

With the timeskip it is now clear that we get resets like "what wouldve happened if...". Lets see how this is.
And Kaoru is next, even though I dont want him to end up with her since shes mine! And only mine!

Too bad I dont have a ps2 so that I cant play the game.

Btw, does someone know what the SS in the title means? Since the game didnt have that.

I agree with you and with Killer_Ossi. It was a great episode but it went too fast with the 10 year jump with identical looks. That really wasn't exactly right. It was fun to see them doing a roleplay .
To say that i like the kind of reset that they are doing is not the case. This really feels like saying: "if you don't like this ending try another one. That way you can choose the ending you want.". It feels like a trick to please every viewer and get a good rating. I'd rather have a complete story with an ending which can differ from what you want. That way it gives you something to argue about .
Still i liked the arc with the exception of episode 2. So i'll keep on watching to see if the next arc is better. In that way i may be able to say which of the arcs had the best storyline for me.

Wow...I just saw a Myself;Yourself pulled right here. The 10 year time skip was not what I expected and that's not a good thing.

Everything was fantastic this episode except the very last bit before the ED theme. All the drama build up was absolutely wonderful and then there was the total letdown at the end. I was hoping for something big to happen but boy am I disappointed.

Anyways, the episode confirms world resets and what annoys me about this episode the most is that the rest of this show will show very ideal situations. Each arc will reproduce similar final results in a formulaic fashion. What I was hoping this show would do is put some additional drama between the other female protagonists, but based on how things are going, not a single bit of that will come close to happening. Had the show connected the arcs somehow I may have been more satisfied. With Haruka out of the picture for essentially the rest of the series, the only other character I'm interested in learning more about is the mysterious Tsukasa, who's arc is last. This is going to a boring 16 episode set. From what it looks like, no incest arc either....

Regardless, it's pretty much safe to say that this show has just kicked the bucket. Unless something surprising happens in the remaining arcs (like a tie-in or lead-in into one another) I don't see this show getting any better than it already is. They would have to put some serious drama/depression in Tsukasa's arc to end things with a bang. Now that I'm thinking about it, unless they revealed specifically who rejected Junichi in the past and sent him to depression, I feel like Tsukasa may be that person who did it. Only Junichi doesn't remember since he wanted avoid moping around indefinitely.

I agree with Kit, don't like the concept at all. Show started off on the right foot for me, but ever since then I haven't enjoyed it. I think the main thing is the main character's attitude and approach...if hes substitutable for a dog for the rest of the series it's going to make me drop this show. He acts like such a doormat, and it disgusts me.

One thing I dislike is the omniscient point of view. We know what Morishima was thinking, then she pulls that stunt at the end of ep 4...it was way too sudden and out-of-character IMO. We got to see her squirming on the couch in joy one ep, then asking relationship advice, but never saw her without her guard up until the last 5 mins of the arc. I wouldn't have been bothered by the chara change if I didn't see those scenes I just mentioned, but because I did, I feel like there should have been more development leading up to that point (instead of the whole beyond-wierd watershed scene, to mention one).

Maybe the Kaoru arc will re-invigorate the series for me, if the main character doesn't act like he did in the first arc.

I liked the show when it started. It seemed cool to finally have a series where the 2 main characters actually fall for each other and, make something happen about it. Usually confessions don't happen or they are played off. It was nice to see where this show was gonna go with an actual budding relationship.

Then it all went down hill. First, Haruka looks and acts like an updated version of Sakuya from Tenchi in Tokyo, yes I'm going way back here. Ok that's not the problem just had to mention it

The problem lies in how annoying and whipped Junichi is. I am sick of his whining puppy dog attitude, and his clingy disgusting lust for Haruka. it's not funny, it's sad. Combined with Haruka's weird attitude and personality and her calling all the shots, makes for a very awkward feeling atmosphere. It actually feels very similar to the manga Sundome I am reading, just a bit less ecchi.

I'll be interested to see how the story progresses, but the best way I can describe watching it is awkward.

IDK sure making out with the back of her knee was certainly awkward. Although when he tried to work his way a little farther up I thought okies stop the puppy dog game and get down to business. But the next day he wanted to makeout with the back of her knee again and I knew that something was a bit off. At least my boy Kosuda from B Gata H Kei didn't seem so lame. The whole role playing in the cafeteria was also really awkward but more than anything I thought it was amusing. If you have the balls to pull something like that off in public more power to you -- I won't hate.

The only disappointing part about the series so far for me is that they were scared to show the kiss?! I mean you have Haruka-senpai practically breakdown and confess in tears and you would expect IDK some fireworks. But not soooooooo much... I would have grabbed her and made sweet pg-13 lovin to her -- umm pg-13 because yesss I know this isn't a hentai lol.

I just saw a Senpai post and I just had to say hi. I won't really be watching anything from the current season until I finish off the previous season's series but that won't be happening any time soon as I'm currently indulging myself with my beloved 360.

seeing as this will be the last week that I will be watching for a while I just wanna say, "wouldn't it be interesting if for one of the arcs he fails to get the girl?" Think on that one.

Would it be interesting? Yes.

Will he? About a 99.9% chance that he will not.

Anyway we got our reset. It might not be too bad if they do it this way, although I'am annoyed that Tsukasa is the last on the list.

That said... Kaoru was pretty awesome, and honestly their personalities match better than him playing "dog and master" with Haruka.

I was anticipating Kaorus arc the most, and it didnt fail my expectations. Kaoru is just pure win.
Shes just a women you can have fun with without all that stupid moe stuff and having to take care she can breath without help.

I really thought we wouldnt see Morishima again and even worse dont get to see Hibiki again. Good that Hibiki had at least a little bit of screentime.

I dont really mind it beeing a reset. Its like watching someone play the different routes of the game withhout having to play it for hours yourself, so Im all in for it

For the thing with Morishima. In my eyes the whole dog, master and knee-back thing was just great. I really loved these scenes and it fitted perfectly.

That sad the bad thing is that all the other 3 upcoming girls are pretty much uninteresting. But maybe I get surprised.
