Hmm, I think there was a thread for Kiddy Grade, but when I'm trying to search it again today, I can't find it. Well, in any case, if someone find it, please let me know, so I can merge that thread with this one.

Synopsis (from ANN):
ES members Éclair and Lumière once were involved in a battle to decide the fate of the galaxy. They prevailed and peace was restored to the galaxy. Now, several years later, the galaxy once again stands on the brink of chaos. This conflict will see the dawn of two new heroines; Asukuuru and Kufiiyu.



To be honest, I still miss Eclair and Lumiere....but ehm...those two heroines also make me very interested...I just wish that Eclair and Lumiere would be also in this series...

i have seen the first season that was great with all the twists and turns and i also wish that Éclair and Lumière would be in it....who knows they could be, but who knows.....
i hope that the second season with have the same thrills and mysteries as the 1st season

there is a trilogy Movie ? OMG
I need to get my hands on that

I would laugh if they in the series as like the ppl who work behind the scenes and present themself later in the ep but that just a theory =/

I hadnt herd about this new series at all let alone that there were movies...I am so excited...
Does anyone know if its gonna be subbed (the movies too) and if so by who?

I loved eclair and lumiere....the series was sooo cool with the plot twists at the end. it really was good. I dont mind a series with new characters though, as long as they make the plot as good as the last one.

I just saw a little clip of Kiddy Grade 2. It look good the new character got interesting moves ^^ and someone got a interesting tatoo(kinda) somewhere XD

Well as Jul10 post one more day left although we still need the subber who going to sub it =)

I also saw the 1 minute 17 seconds clip
and I think I saw ec-chan and lummy-chan (although eclaire seemed younger hmmm...)
there seemed that all the characters from the original series are there: saw eclipse, mercredi, viola and her partner, dextera and sinistra, some other whose names I can't remember, and the 2 new girls....
can't wait for this to get subbed, hope someone will pick it up soon

BTW, to those Lolicons who haven't seen the original series, I have bad news for you:

Although Lumiere has been cloned many times, GOTT never erased her memories - thus although bodily she might be 10, in psychological & neuro-temporal terms she's over 200! Oh, and Sailor Chibi Moon is 902!

Although i gotta say i am a dissapointed that Eclair and Lummy aren't going to be the main characters anymore I'm not the type to dwell on it and will just go with the flow and enjoy but hmm putting that aside Ayu released what they are calling the pilot episode? it's 86.01kb so I'm guessing it's not really episode one? Though i am going to download it in a few and check it out.

Maybe it's closer to a long promo instead of an actual pilot episode. Not really sure. Don't have any intention to download it right now anyway. I need to watch the first Kiddy Grade before I try any of this.

Nothing much for me to say, since this only a pilot promo. I just like the BGM that they used for the new characters of KG2. The BGM are so awesome!!! ^^

Yeah i'm not quite sure why this was listed as a pilot it was only about 6 minutes long. Though it does show how Eclaire seems to self-destruct? herself and blows up not quite sure if Lummy was caught in the blast but she could have been also
Looks like Tweedledee and Tweedledum are a couple of the ES members who will be back this time around plus the green haired guy and his partner also (drawing a blank on their names at the moment) oh yeah and Eclipse seems to still be alive and kicking.

Ascule and Que Feuilles the new ES members seem to be around the same age or probably better said the same size because i have no clue how old they are. Just thought that was worth noting since Lummy and Eclair had obvious size or umm proportion differences. Maybe to apease the lolicons and ones who like a more mature look all at the same time. Well that won't be the case here the two new heroines both kinda look like there in their middle teens appearance wise.

Barbo yeah go ahead and give KG-1 a go it's well worth & enjoy some Eclair X Lummy action

Like B-dono, I've never seen the first season of Kiddy Grade...I've downloaded the KG 2 Pilot...though. Ah, I'll watch the first season soon.

Well hopefully I'll finish watching the first season rather shortly since I just found a torrent for the whole first season dual audio. Downloading that right now.

Edit: Sry. Kinda overlooked that warning by accident. I'll take any more of my questions/comments over to the Kiddy Grade 1 thread.

Yeah, I realise the warning from your introductory post Jul10. It seems this anime...will be either premiering at July or October 2007...so lots of time to play catch up. I didn't know the first season was licensed but anyways, I know where to direct download the whole season in 6 hours...lolz. I've heard there gonna be three movies re-telling the first season...any news on that ???

I know it sounds restrictive, but I don't want to have two or three different talks in this thread. I wish all discussion would be related to Kiddy Grade 2 and related only. And, since the movie is TRILOGY, I think it would be a good reason to have a separate thread for it.

I still hoping that eclair and Lumi-chan would also be in this series. Although, it seems that they are already dead in the pilot II eps, remember that they are actually immortal. So, let's don't give up our hope...

Personally, I really love to see more of Chibi ec-chan...

Here's the synopsis story of the PV pilot: It begins with the Orbital Rim explosion, which actually involves Epilogue Eclair and Lumiere. Eclair is falling through space, seemingly unconsciousm and Lumiere yells her name (the only dialog for some time, most of the PV is set to some tense BGM). Donnerchlag-Re get's blown up. Eclair is rescued by Eclipse on the Calliope, and then demonstrates her G-class strength by catching and throwing an immense chunk of metal about to hit them. Armbrust does some showing off floating in the air, we see his case's guns in use for the first time and a bit of the Siegerum in action.
Then suddenly we're back ten years before the start of the first series with Lumiere, chibi Eclair (who seems to make a habit of kicking down doors), Maryann and Bran from the Pr. novels (see here and here), then Viper and Virago from the Vs. manga (see here). We seem to going through a potted history as then see both the main versions of Eclair and Lumiere from the series in order, although scenes not shown in the first series including Lumiere creating what looks like a warp portal. Then a brief glimpse of Liquiy, Bonita and the new receptionist from the epilogue.
Now we're up to the new stuff with Que Feuilles and Ascule's guard robot, which looks to have been designed after a hippogriff/centaur, which fights with a snake-robot thing. Like that recent Newtype poster indicated, Ascule fights with a comb (of all things), firing the teeth like little exploding darts. Que Feuilles weapon, which I thought from the poster were stones, actually seem to be.. exploding chocolates (go figure).
We now go back onboard the Calliope with Eclair, Lumiere and Eclipse and have some more spoken lines (Ryoko and Aya are the only credited cast), one of which is Eclair's "Osoreru koto wa nai" which is also in one or two of the epilogues on the KG Sound Packs.
Now we have the bit with the warp gate, the Fenice (Viola and Cesario), and the Centurion (Dextera and Sinistra). There's an explosion on part of the warp gate and chunks fly towards the Fenice which disintergrates them (using Viola's power), but it is hit (from behind it looks like) and falls into the warp gate. Centurion splits into Unicorn-α and -β, both Dextera and Sinistra look hurt. Are we to believe they all die since they are not seen again in the PV?
Now we cut to Ascule fighting those two twins. That glowing tatoo on her thigh looks to be shaped like a rose and allows her to, well bamf basically. It doesn't look to be her just rapid movement, she's not moving fast when she disappears and comes out backwards, but looks to be a short-range/line-of-sight dislocation rather than Eclipse's quantum jump. Those little glowing balls by the twins fingers function like exploding energy bolas.
Now we're back with Epilogue Eclair and Lumiere again, Eclair is naked, glowing and falling down an energy column within the space elevator shaft from the start, her hair doing that whole Saiyan-thing (or so I've heard). She says something innaudible and then explodes. Lumiere looked to be back on Donnerchlag-Re, despite him blowing in what seeming to be earlier in this continuity, and he is seeming vapurised along with Lumiere given their proximity to Eclair when she gained critical mass.
Now we have the other new characters; the tall meganekko and the boy (who could possibly be Chevalier), who appear to be partners.
It wouldn't be a Kiddy Grade preview without the odd imagery in the next few clips, followed by more short clips with the new and old characters (including A-ou, Un-ou, Tweedledee and Tweedledum) and the new leads' ship.
Finally we end with the group shot that started the internet preview, the text under the logo, they stand under, which is for the Galactic Trade Organisation (GTO), reads "As it was in the beginning and now and ever shall be the world without End" (from the Gloria Patri.. I think someone's been watching too much Evangelion)
The end credits run to Junpaku Sanctuary.

i cant wait to see this, i heard about it a lot but has far has i heard it was unconfirmed, and possibly rumors, only lately had i heard it wasnt rumors. and to think i came upon the pilot by accident when i accidently closed the ep guide to manabi LOL XD
